Hagrid’s Holiday Part 4
Hello everyone, welcome to Part 4 of our Walkthrough for Hagrid’s Holiday Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. Last time, you and Hagrid started delivering presents. The first person you met was a centaur named Torvus who was initially against receiving gifts. However, he changed his mind after you helped him realize human and centaur holidays aren’t too different.
You then went to Ollivanders and gave a gift to Mr. Ollivander. After that, you visited Madam Villanelle at Flourish and Blotts. There, you encountered Mundungus Fletcher and learned that he has no one to celebrate Christmas with. Hagrid gave him a wizard cracker, which immediately cheered him up.
Lastly, you went to the Leaky Cauldron where you met Draco Malfoy. He told you that his father is always busy, even during the holidays, so you decided to spend some time with him and gave him a wizard cracker. Your kind gesture made Draco smile, and he wished you Happy Christmas.
Now is the time to continue where you left off. Your next stop is St. Mungo’s.

[Disclaimer: This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a Year 7 student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 2 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on your current progress of the main story.]
When you arrive, you will be able to interact with some of the children.
Madam Strout will welcome you to St. Mungo’s. If this is your first time meeting her, she will introduce herself. If you’ve met her before, you’ll happily greet each other.
Hagrid will apologize for taking so long to arrive. He’ll explain that he had to make a few stops on the way. Thankfully, Madam Strout won’t mind it. She’ll appreciate everything Hagrid is doing to help the community.
She will then ask you about your journey so far. There are three options to reply with. This choice won’t significantly change the story, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.
Shortly after, you and Hagrid will start giving presents to the children. You need to earn five stars within three hours to complete this task. All five stars are required to pass.
This task is divided into three sections. Each section lasts until you fill one-third of the total star meter. Unfortunately, there are no bonus progress actions in the first and third sections.
During the second section, you will find a bonus progress action tied to Hagrid.
You will notice a crowd of children gathering around Hagrid. Smiles of happiness and cheerful laughter will fill the room.
Madam Strout will wholeheartedly thank you for everything you’ve done to make this a truly wonderful holiday for the children. You’ll humbly say that it was all thanks to Hagrid.
You’ll notice Hagrid getting along with children quite well. Madam Strout will smile and say that ‘Father Christmas’ is going to have his hands full for a while.
She will say there are still many floors to visit before the night is out. She will kindly ask you to hand out some wizard crackers in the Janus Thickey Ward. In the meantime, she and Hagrid will deliver the rest of the presents.
You’ll be more than happy to help. Once again, Madam Strout will thank you for making it a memorable holiday for the children.
You and Madam Strout will wish each other Happy Christmas, and shortly after, you will go to deliver the presents to the Janus Thickey Ward.
You will need to wait four hours before you can continue. Since you will likely be low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait and let your energy recharge in the meantime. Proceed to the patient room once the waiting time is over.
Moments after you arrive, a young boy will ask for a moment of your time. He’ll say that he got lost. He came to St. Mungo’s with his Gran, but they got separated. The boy will introduce himself as Neville Longbottom.
You’ll politely introduce yourself and tell him that everything is going to be all right. The following lines will differ, depending on your current progress of the main story.
In any case, Neville will tell you that his parents are patients in the Janus Thickey Ward.
You’ll decide to help Neville find his parents. If this is not your first time in the Janus Thickey ward, you will receive some additional dialogue lines.
You’ll take a look around and shortly after, Neville will spot his parents. He will thank you for helping him find them. He’ll ask if you’d like to meet them. You will smile and ask him to introduce you.
Meeting Neville’s parents is your next task. You need to earn five stars within eight hours to complete it. All five stars are required to pass.
There are bonus progress actions tied to Neville, both of his parents, and your character. Prioritize those actions to save energy.
Neville will tell you that his parents used to be respected Aurors who defied bad people until the very end. He’ll say that he is proud to be their son, even if they cannot recognize him.
You will learn that he and his Gran are visiting them every Christmas. You’ll be touched to hear that.
Neville will tell you he wants to grow up to be someone who would make his parents proud. Someone who fights evil like they did.
However, he has a lot to live up to, according to his Gran. He’ll be afraid that he is going to be a disappointment. You have three options to encourage him. Each of the options will end up with the same outcome, so feel free to pick the one you prefer.
You’ll then give Neville a wizard cracker. He will happily accept your gift. Instead of opening it right away, he’ll decide to open it on Christmas morning. That way, he can share the joyful moment with his family.
Neville will thank you again for the thoughtful gift. Before you leave, the two of you will wish each other Happy Christmas.
Go to the reception area of St. Mungo’s when you are ready to continue. You will find Hagrid waiting for you. He’ll ask if you are done delivering presents. You’ll nod and say that made a new friend in the Janus Thickey Ward. Hagrid will be glad to hear that.
You’ll ask him what the next part of his special mission is. Hagrid will say that St. Mungo’s was the last stop. In other words, the special mission is complete, and you can finally enjoy your break.
You will then get to reflect on your journey. You need to earn five stars within three hours to complete this task. All five stars are required to pass.
There are bonus progress actions tied to your character and Hagrid.
Hagrid will ask if you figured out which part of the journey was your favorite. There are three options to choose from. If you like Hagrid, it is recommended to pick the third option.
You’ll ask Hagrid what he is planning to do next. He’ll say that he is going to return to his hut and spend some time with Fang. He will invite you to join him for a cup of tea.
You will gladly accept his invitation. Moments later, the two of you will head back to Hogwarts. Go to Hagrid’s hut when you are ready to continue.
You’ll ask Hagrid if he is doing the hard work, such as chopping trees, healing owls, and delivering gifts every year. He will tell you that he is. He’ll be curious to know why you asked him that question.
You will say that you originally wanted to know how he spends his holiday, but all he did was work.
Hagrid will smile and say there is nothing wrong with work, especially if it is for people you care about. He’ll go on and say that once he finishes all the work, the cozy fire and a cup of tea is all he needs to enjoy the holiday.
He will tell you that a long time ago, he used to spend Christmas with his father. You’ll ask him to tell you more about him.
Learning about Hagrid’s family is your next task. You need to earn five stars within three hours (eight hours for Year 4+ students) to complete it. All five stars are required to pass.
There are actions with bonus progress tied to Hagrid and your character. Prioritizing them should save you some energy.
Hagrid will tell you that his father was a good man. All his life, Hagrid tried to live up to his memory. He will quote something his father used to say.
Hagrid will say that he thinks his father would be proud of what he does and the person he’s become. You will kindly smile and say that he wouldn’t be the only one.
He’ll thank you for your kind words and say he’s sorry that you couldn’t spend the holiday with your family and student friends. The choice you made while talking to your friends in the courtyard will take effect here.
Hagrid will ask how you feel about being on your own for the holiday. There are two options to reply with. This choice won’t significantly impact the story, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.
Hagrid will be moved by your words. Moments later he will say he has a present for you. The choice you made when you helped him trim the Christmas trees will take effect here.
You will get a special wizard cracker from Hagrid. He’ll say that Professor McGonagall helped him make it, just for you.
You’ll decide not to open the present immediately. That way, you’ll be able to hang onto the feeling for a little while longer.
You’ll then give Hagrid the present Professor McGonagall prepared for him. He will open it, and a festive hat will appear on Fang’s head. Hagrid will say that he looks just like Father Christmas.
Hagrid and you will wish each other Happy Christmas. This will conclude Part 4 of Hagrid’s Holiday adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 1000 Experience points, 4 Gems, 3 Chocolate Frogs, and the special Wizard Cracker.
You will earn the achievement for completing the adventure.
You will be able to place the special wizard cracker you received from Hagrid in your dormitory. Occasionally, you can tap on it to receive energy.
That was one of the most heartwarming adventures so far. You got to assist Hagrid with his holiday tasks, and you also helped him with his special mission. Most importantly, you made Christmas extra special for many people, and the wizard cracker you got will always remind you of that wonderful feeling in your heart.
Thank you for reading.
