Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 3 of our Walkthrough for Knarl’s Big Day Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. During the previous part, Knarl escaped Tonks and left the courtyard. His tracks lead to the Great Hall but he escaped before you arrived.

You and Barnaby concluded that Knarl may be hungry, so he probably went to search for flowers to eat.

You then went to the Forbidden Forest where you finally found Barnaby’s pet and met Xenophilius Lovegood. Xeno mentioned that Barnaby’s pet is a ‘telepathic Knarl’ and that he is making strange sequences of movement, wishing to say something.

You decided to go with Xeno to Hagrid’s garden, where you studied Knarl’s movements. You figured out that Knarl wishes to celebrate his Knarlenbarn with his long-lost twin brother. Xeno offered help in finding Knarl’s brother.

You also noticed that Barnaby seems troubled by something. He asked to talk with you in private about it.

Go to the Great Hall when you are ready to speak with Barnaby. You can interact with the students in the Great Hall by tapping on their speech bubbles.

Barnaby will be conflicted about using Quibbler’s resources to find Knarl’s brother.

To help Barnaby decide what to do next, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass the task.

Actions with bonus progress are tied to your character, Barnaby and Merula. Don’t forget to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions.

You’ll find out that Barnaby wants Knarl to meet his brother, but he is also afraid that Knarl will choose to leave him.

You have two options to reassure Barnaby. Pick the one that you like more since this choice won’t have any significant impact on the story.

Your friend will understand that he can’t be selfish, so he’ll decide to accept Xeno’s help to search for Knarl’s brother.

You will find Xenophilius in the Clocktower Courtyard, so go there when you are ready to continue.

If you are curious, you can check what students in the courtyard have to say by tapping on the speech bubbles above their heads. Once you’re done, speak with Xeno.

Barnaby will accept Xeno’s offer on condition that the investigation doesn’t get in the way of Knarlenbarn.

Xenophilius will be pleased, already imagining the headlines of this story. He will reassure your friend that Knarl’s party is essential for the story.

To begin your search, and in the meantime organize the party, you first need to split up the tasks. To do so, you’ll need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to complete this task.

Action with the bonus progress is tied to Xenophilius. Prioritize his actions to save some energy.

Barnaby will ask you which of the tasks is the most important. This choice won’t significantly impact the story, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.

Mr. Lovegood will contact the Quibbler’s investigators, Barnaby will pick up the cake from Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop, and you will meet Andre to pick out the decorations.

You will find Andre in the Transfiguration classroom. He prepared two types of decorations: Knarl-shaped balloons and potted daisies.

He’ll explain to you that he can’t use both decorations, because it will be too distracting for guests. The choice you made while talking to Andre earlier will take effect here.

He’ll provide you with samples of both decorations and he will ask you to choose.

Before you choose, you’ll need to take a closer look at the decorations. To inspect them you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass.

Actions with bonus progress will be tied to Andre and your character. Prioritize them to save some energy.

After you inspect both decorations, you will learn that each of them has something unique.

But your time to choose will arrive. The decoration you select will appear at the party, while the other one won’t.

Once you make your choice, Andre will say that he’ll bring the sample decoration to the Great Hall. He will say that you can multiply it with the Geminio charm.

That way you would fill the Great Hall with decorations very fast. But before that, you’ll need to learn this charm from Professor Flitwick.

When you are ready, go to the Charms classroom to meet Professor Flitwick. He will tell you that Geminio is not an easy spell. He will ask why you think you can learn it.

This choice won’t have any huge impact on the rest of the story, but if you like Professor Flitwick, it is recommended to pick the second option.

To learn Geminio, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to complete the task.

Actions with bonus progress will be tied to your character and professor Flitwick. Make those actions a priority so you can save a bit of energy.

Before you perform Geminio, Flitwick will want to check your knowledge for safety reasons. He will ask you which curse is similar to Geminio. The correct answer is ‘Gemino’.

After your answer, you’ll be tasked with performing the Geminio charm.

You will impress Professor Flitwick because you’ve learned it so fast.

You’ll finally be ready to go and decorate the Great Hall.
