Lone Wolf Part 3

Disclaimer: This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a Year 2 student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 2 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on your current progress of the main story.
There is a waiting period of three hours before you can proceed. It is recommended to wait until this timer runs out and let your energy regenerate in the meanwhile. Proceed to the Clocktower Courtyard once the waiting time is over.
Chaira will inform you that Pippa should be arriving soon. As it appears, she is still afraid to face the truth.
You’ll reassure her that won’t be the case and you will mention that you saw her on the Training Grounds. You will also ask her about the wizard she met.
Chiara will automatically assume you were spying on her, and she’ll get quite mad.
Sadly, before you get the chance to explain yourself to her, Pippa will arrive and cut your conversation short.
You will show her the Memory Potion and explain its effects.
Sadly, Pippa will be afraid of facing the truth. You will calmly explain that uncovering the truth might be good for her.
Still, she will be reluctant to drink the potion. You have three options to convince her. Each of these will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.
In the end, she will agree to drink the potion. It will work and she will remember everything that happened the night she was attacked.
Talking to Pippa about it is your next task. To complete it, students up to Year 5 Chapter 16 need to earn five stars within three hours. Students past Year 5 Chapter 17 need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass.
There are bonus progress actions tied to Pippa, so you should prioritize her actions in order to save some energy.
When you are done, you will learn that she wasn’t attacked by a werewolf.
Apparently, she was scared by a Hippogriff and while running away, she scratched her hand on a nearby tree branch.
She will thank you and Chiara before leaving. Chiara will also thank you for everything you’ve done.
You will finally put the missing pieces of the puzzle together and ask her a question about the Wolfsbane Potion.
Sadly, Chiara won’t be ready to give you the answer. She will leave the courtyard before you get the chance to ask any further questions.
Not long after that, Ben will ask you to meet him in the Charms classroom, so go there when you are ready to continue.
Upon arriving, you will be able to interact with some of the characters. Be sure to check these out, and pay attention to a lone student sitting on the right side of the classroom.
Ben will notice that you’re upset. He’ll ask if it has anything to do with the werewolf attack.
You will learn that Ben already knows Pippa wasn’t attacked by a werewolf. Apparently, the word does travel fast around Hogwarts.
Once you confirm that there were no werewolf attacks, Ben will either be relieved or disappointed, depending on the year you’re in.
He’ll ask about the wizard you saw Chiara meeting with. You’ll tell him the truth. After all, Chiara didn’t say anything about the wizard.
Ben will tell you that he’s been thinking a lot lately, and he’s decided to do something about it.
Talking to Ben requires earning five stars within an hour. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task if you’re low on energy.
The only bonus progress action here is linked to your character, so focusing on that one should save you a bit of energy.
As it turns out, Ben is planning to report the wizard to Professor Dumbledore.
After noticing you’re not too excited about the idea, Ben will ask if you think the wizard could be a threat. There are two options to reply with, but none of these will have any effect on the outcome of the story, so feel free to pick either one.
You will politely ask Ben to be silent about the wizard you saw.
Still, he’ll need a good enough reason to do that. You have three options to convince him. Each of these will lead to different dialogue lines.
If you like Ben, you might want to go with the first choice. Also, if you are in Year 6, picking the third option will lead to some interesting lines you might want to check out.
Regardless of the option you picked, Ben will promise not to tell Dumbledore anything.
However, Ben had already alerted some other students about the wizard you saw.
This might prove to be a problem. You will quickly decide to find Chiara and talk to her.
Proceed to the West Towers Corridor to meet with her. Once again, you will ask her to talk about the wizard.
As it appears, she doesn’t want to share this secret with you. You will tell her about Ben warning other students about the wizard.
Needless to say, she will be quite angry to hear that.
However, just as she was about to leave, you will plead with her to listen to the whole story.
Convincing Chiara requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass.
The only bonus progress action here is linked to Chiara, so prioritizing that one could save you a bit of energy.
After learning the whole story, Chiara will apologize to you. You will happily accept her apology.
Still, she will seem very worried about the wizard. Once again, you will ask her about him.
She will tell you it is not her secret to share. And it looks like she isn’t quite sure if she should trust you.
You have three options to convince her. Each of these will be good enough to do that. If you care about Chiara, it is highly recommended to go with the third option. Otherwise, the first option has some interesting lines of dialogue you might want to check out.
In the end, she will ask you to come to the Training Grounds if you want to learn the truth.
There is a waiting period of three hours before you can proceed. Since you will likely be low on energy following the previous task, it is recommended to wait for this timer to run out and regenerate some energy in the meantime.
Once you’re able to continue, head to the Training Grounds to learn Chiara’s secret. Upon arriving, you will notice her talking to the mysterious wizard.
He’ll be surprised to see you approaching. Chiara will introduce you to him and say that you’re trustworthy.
The wizard will introduce himself as Remus Lupin.
Chiara will finally offer to give you some answers.
Talking to them requires earning five stars within eight hours. All of the stars are needed to pass.
There are plenty of bonus progress actions here, which should make things a bit easier for you.
Once you finish the task, you will realize that Lupin is a werewolf. Apparently, he’s been having trouble making the Wolfsbane Potion, so Chiara was kind enough to give him the ones she had.
It turns out it was Borf that led Chiara to him.
Chiara will share her dream with you. You will be confident she will be able to do it. She will thank you and say that it all started because she gave Lupin her Wolfsbane Potions.
Apparently, Lupin was completely unaware of the fact that Chiara was giving him her own Wolfsbane Potions.
Chiara will admit that she gave him her own potions. She’ll explain that the Aconite shortage only made things more difficult. Because of that, she decided to give her potions to Lupin.
She will ask if you think what she did was irresponsible. There are two options to choose from. While this choice won’t change the outcome of the story, it is recommended to pick the first option if you like Chiara.
Now that he knows that Chiara was giving him her own Wolfsbane Potions, Lupin will make a difficult decision. He will say that he cannot keep accepting Wolfsbane Potions from her.
He’ll decide to stay away from her and other people, from now on. Chiara will be surprised to hear that. Lupin will say that it’s not safe if he sticks around.
Chiara will offer to give him one last Wolfsbane Potion. Initially, he will be against it, but she’ll explain that it’s too late for the potion to work on her.
After all, the potion needs to be taken every day of the week leading up to the full moon to work at all. You’ll also say a few words to convince Lupin.
Reluctantly, he will accept the potion. Before he goes, he will ask to have a word with you in private.
Once Chiara leaves, Lupin will ask you to watch over her. He’ll say that she needs a friend who can keep her and the school safe in case anything happens.
You’ll say that you always wanted to be her friend, but she didn’t let you get too close.
According to Lupin, that might not be entirely true. He’ll tell you Chiara is probably afraid of letting anyone get too close in case she hurts them or scares them off.
He will ask you to stay by her side during the full moon. He’ll explain that Chiara will have a difficult transformation without the effects of the Wolfsbane Potion.
Lupin will tell you it was a lot easier for him to make it to the sunrise when he had his friends by his side. He’ll advise you to take Chiara’s mind off the transformation and make it clear that you’ll stay by her side.
That way, she will realize that you are truly her friend and that you aren’t afraid of the fact she’s a werewolf.
You will thank Lupin for the advice. You’ll decide to hang out with Chiara in the courtyard before the full moon rises.
Lupin will thank you for being kind enough to support Chiara. He will wish you the best of luck before leaving.
This will conclude Part 3 of Lone Wolf adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will earn 2 Gems.
Will Chiara let you stay by her side during the full moon? And what will happen when she transforms? Find out in Part 4 of Lone Wolf adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery.
