Lone Wolf Part 4

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 4 of our Walkthrough for Lone Wolf Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous part, Chiara and you gave Pippa the Memory Potion. This restored her memories, and you learned that she wasn’t attacked by a werewolf at all.

Later on, Ben told you that he informed some other students about the mysterious wizard, so you went to warn Chiara. After talking to her, you went to meet the wizard. He turned out to be none other than Remus Lupin, one of the members of the Marauders.

After talking to him, you learned he’s a werewolf, and Chiara was giving him her Wolfsbane Potions. However, once he found out that she was giving him her own potions, he decided not to take those from her anymore. Before leaving, he asked you to stay with Chiara during her transformation and look after her once he’s gone.

Disclaimer: This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a Year 2 student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 2 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on your current progress of the main story.

Now it’s time to prove that you’re worthy of Chiara’s friendship. Proceed to the Clocktower Courtyard when you are ready.

As you arrive, you’ll notice Chiara gazing at the sky. She will be a bit worried about hanging out right before the full moon rising, especially since she gave Lupin all of her Wolfsbane Potions.

You will calmly say it’s just what she needs – a friend by her side. And that is also what Lupin suggested. She will be surprised to hear that.

She will admit that she already misses him. She’ll decide to write to him and hopefully, she will see him again.

Chiara will tell you that she isn’t really used to hanging out with others. You’ll suggest just chatting for a bit.

Two of you will sit near the fountain, and you’ll get the opportunity to learn more about Chiara. There are three options to choose from.

These choices won’t affect the outcome of the story. Instead, each of the options will give you some information about Chiara, so feel free to pick the one you are most curious about.

You will then spend some time in cheerful laughter. You’ll admit you used the opportunity to learn more about Chiara.

However, you’ll notice that she is still not too comfortable talking about herself, so you will suggest playing some Gobstones instead.

Playing Gobstones with Chiara requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, which is why it’s not recommended to start this task if your energy is low.

There are two bonus progress actions linked to Chiara, so prioritize her actions if you’re looking to save some energy.

When you are done, Chiara will admit she had a lot of fun playing Gobstones, and she’ll thank you for it.

Sadly, she will remember that the full moon is about to rise, and she’ll hastily run away.

You will quickly follow her to the Training Grounds. Chiara will be shocked to see you arrive. She will tell you to run away since she’s about to transform at any moment.

However, you’ll let her know you are determined to stay by her side. You’ll remind her that she is always helping others and that it’s finally time for someone else to help her.

Moments later, Chiara will notice the full moon up in the night sky, and she’ll start transforming. Before she transforms, she’ll tell you to stop her from hurting anyone.

Shortly after, she will be fully transformed into a werewolf.

You will try your best to reach out to her.

You have three options to choose from. None of these will affect the outcome of the story, so feel free to pick whichever one you want.

For a moment, Chiara will seem calm, but not long after that, she’ll become aggressive again. In the end, you will be forced to fight her.

The task window will display the recommended attribute levels and the cost of each attempt. The recommended attributes will always be one level above the ones you have, which will make this duel quite challenging.

This is one of the most challenging duels in the game. One way to approach this duel is to constantly go Sneaky and use Flipendo. This way, you will be able to win the duel in four turns, with a bit of luck. As long as you don’t get stunned, you should end up winning the duel.

However, if you get unlucky and get stunned, you might end up losing. We tested the strategy with a Year 2 student, and we won the duel on our first try.

After winning the duel, you will try to talk to Chiara again.

You will encourage Chiara that she is strong and she can go through this. You’ll remind her that she is not alone, and you won’t let anything happen to her because you are her friend.

Apparently, your words will reach her, and she will run off toward the Forbidden Forest. You will then notice the photo she dropped while transforming.

Now is the time to return the photo to her and see if she’s all right. Proceed to the Artefact Room when you are ready to continue.

Upon arriving, you will ask Chiara about last night. Thanks to you, she did manage to control herself enough to run to the Forbidden Forest.

And thankfully, you didn’t hurt her severely. She will still be surprised that you stood by her side while she transformed.

She’ll ask if you were afraid of her. There are two options to respond with. While both options will lead to the same outcome, it is somewhat recommended to go with the first one.

Chiara will then decide to open up to you and explain why she was pushing you away.

Talking to Chiara requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.

There are actions with bonus progress linked to Chiara and your character, which should make this task a bit easier.

As it turns out, while she was little, Chiara told her secret to her best friend, Selina. Initially, Selina wasn’t afraid, but once she saw Chiara transform, she was terrified of her.

Eventually, Chiara’s mother had to erase Selina’s memory. This explains why she was so reluctant to let you get close to her.

However, she now sees that you’re willing to be her friend, no matter what, and she’ll happily admit she was wrong about you.

She’ll then ask you about the photo you found. Apparently, Lupin’s friend Prongs, aka James Potter, was the one who took that picture.

Lupin gave the photo to Chiara, to remind her that the morning will always come, no matter how difficult the night of the full moon is. 

After hearing that, you’ll say you are glad you found the photo. Surprisingly, Chiara will want you to keep it.

You’ll ask if she is sure about it. She’ll nod and say that she doesn’t need the photo anymore since she can draw strength from something else… you.

Finally, she will realize that you are her friend, and she’ll happily admit it.

She will thank you for everything you’ve done for her, and for sticking by her side during her darkest moments.

With this, Part 4 of Lone Wolf adventure will come to an end. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards.

Chiara will be added to your list of friends.
