Now it’s time for Hagrid to lead students across the Black Lake. Go to the Lakeshore to continue the story. Once you are there, you can check what students have to say by tapping on the speech bubbles above their heads.
You will greet all students and you’ll explain that you are here to guide them up to Hogwarts Castle with Hagrid. After that, they’ll have the Sorting Ceremony. You will tell that if someone has a question, now it’s the time to ask. You will see that students have a lot of questions about the Sorting Ceremony.
To discuss the Sorting Ceremony, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass.
Bonus progress actions are tied to your character and to students close to you. Prioritize these actions to save a bit of energy.
Although you won’t be able to answer all questions, you will try your best to explain how the Sorting Ceremony works.
The next question will be about Professor McGonagall. They’ve heard that she can be very strict. You can reassure them or confirm their claim. This choice won’t have a significant impact on the story, so feel free to choose the option you like.
It seems that students heard stories about you as well. Your reputation and stories about your adventures spread outside Hogwarts. The dialogue may slightly differ based on your progress in the main story.
After the chat with your admirers, go to the Main Hall before the Sorting Ceremony begins. Once you are there, you can check what students and professors have to say by tapping on the speech bubbles. You were going to find a seat when Professor McGonagall approached you.
She’ll want to talk about your performance in your duties guiding first-years to Hogwarts. To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass.
Bonus progress actions are tied to Professor McGonagall, one of the students, and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some progress. Don’t forget to slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.
Professor McGonagall will thank you for helping ensure that this year’s new students had a wonderful first journey to Hogwarts.
The first-year students even want to give you something in appreciation for the joy and comfort you gave them. They didn’t have time to visit the shop, but she told them she had a perfect gift for you.
You will take your seat and the Sorting Ceremony will begin.
This will conclude Part 3 of the New Arrivals adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 2 Chocolate Frogs.
Although this adventure is unlocked in Year 3, the achievement for it will be in Year 2 section.
The pendant of the Hogwarts Castle will be added to your wardrobe.
You’ve helped new First-Years to overcome their anxieties. The time flies by, it was so long ago when you were in their position. We hope they will become extraordinary wizards and witches in the future!
