The Weird Sisters Part 1

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 1 of our Walkthrough for The Weird Sisters Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. This adventure is available to Year Two and above students. You’ll have three days to complete it, which will earn you the achievement and an exclusive, rock-themed outfit.

So, without any delay, let’s start the adventure that will rock the foundations of the Wizarding World! For the first task, you need to go to the Clocktower Courtyard to meet Myron Wagtail.

[Disclaimer: This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a Year 3 student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 2 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on your current progress of the main story.]

Upon arriving, you’ll be greeted by the members of the Weird Sisters. The lead member and the singer of the band, Myron will be the first one to introduce himself.

The band’s drummer and the most cheerful member is Orsino Thruston. He is probably the most optimistic person you’ve met so far at Hogwarts.

And lastly, you’ll be introduced to Kirley McCormack Duke, the band’s lead guitarist who seems quite shy and melancholic.

They’ll admit they are fans of yours. The main reasons for this are your curse-breaking adventures as those are quite inspiring for them to write new songs.

Myron will ask you to perform with them.

This will initially come as a big surprise, but they’ll invite you to take a stroll with them and learn the details on the way.

For the next task, you need to go to the Hospital Wing. Hit the GO button and proceed there when you are ready.

Once you arrive, you’ll be able to interact with some characters. Simply tap on their speech bubbles to do so.

You will learn that you’re not the only one the Weird Sisters have been admiring from afar.

Apparently, they are fascinated by Ben Copper. The reason for this is perhaps because he’s the most lonely and depressed student in the entire school.

They will ask you to talk to Ben and understand True Darkness. Only then will you be able to comprehend what the Weird Sisters strive to achieve.

To complete this task, you need to earn five stars within one hour. One star is needed to pass.

If you want to save as much energy as possible, it is recommended to earn one star and wait for the timer to expire.

However, if you want to get some extra rewards, you should earn all five stars. It is worth noting there is an action with bonus progress tied to Ben. Prioritizing it should save you a bit of energy.

When you are done, you’ll witness one hilarious scene before receiving the next task.

Shortly after, Myron will say it is time for your next lesson. He’ll tell you that the next place to visit is filled with apathy and eternal anguish.

Hit the GO button and proceed to the Potions classroom to continue.

Professor Snape won’t be too surprised to see you hanging out with the Weird Sisters.

As it seems, the band wants you to talk to Snape and see if you can understand true anguish and tragedy. Surprisingly, he will be willing to spend some time talking to you.

To complete this task, you need to earn five stars within one hour. Since all five stars are required to pass, it is highly recommended to avoid starting this task with an empty energy bar.

Be sure to read Snape’s remarks as some of them are quite hilarious. Also, there is a bonus progress action tied to Kirley, so focus on his actions if you want to save a bit of energy.

When you’re done, the Professor will ask you one interesting question. Apparently, he won’t be able to figure out why you are hanging out with the Weird Sisters.

You have three options to respond with. This choice won’t significantly impact the story, so feel free to go with whichever option you prefer.

For the next task, you should proceed to meet the band in the Great Hall.

Once you arrive, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the students. Tap on those if you want to see what they have to say.

It seems that Myron and the crew want you to talk to Ismelda in order to understand the true darkness. She will ask if you are ready for that. You can respond in two ways. Both are equally adequate for the situation, but saying no will lead to a couple of funny dialogue lines.

This task is fairly similar to Meal With a Friend. The task window will display the recommended attribute levels as well as the cost of the task.

Basically, the best answers to pick are the ones that embrace the darkness, but the attribute requirements for this task are really low, so you should easily be able to complete it regardless of the choices you make. Below are some of the questions and answers to them.

• Would you use the Killing Curse? – That’s how I start every morning. (Empathy)
• Would you join the Death Eaters? – I would rule over them. (Courage)
• Where will you live after school? – Nurmengard. (Empathy)
• Do you like my hair? – I hate everything about you (Knowledge)
• What if I was a dementor? – I’d Flipendo your nonexistent face. (Courage)

When you are done, both Ismelda and Myron will be impressed.

Shortly after, Part 1 of the Weird Sisters adventure will be complete. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 250 Coins.

Wow, the Weird Sisters want you to play with them and rock the entire Hogwarts! That is a rare opportunity that shouldn’t be missed. But what about the Professors? Will they approve it?
