Love Story Part 2

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 2 of our Walkthrough for Love Story Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. During the previous part, you agreed to deliver Madam Rosmerta’s gift to Professor McGonagall, and in return, Madam Rosmerta said she would set up a romantic evening at the Three Broomsticks for you and your date.

You’ve met Professor McGonagall at Lakeshore and delivered the package. She shared her sad love story and how she misses her late husband Elphinstone.

Later, you went to the Main Hall where you met Tulip. She said she wants to help you to find a perfect date for the Three Broomsticks. You shared McGonagall’s love story with your friends to see their reactions, so you could better understand who would be the best date for you.

Lastly, you met your date at the Clocktower Courtyard. Your date suggested that you collect love stories of other witches and wizards so you can make your future evening at the Three Broomsticks even more beautiful.

Walkthrough

[Disclaimer: This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a Year 7 student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 5 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on your current progress of the main story.]

When you’re prepared, head to the Dueling Room to meet Diego. You’ll express your interest in collecting love stories and suggest that he might have a compelling one to share. Diego will acknowledge having many great stories but will request a favor in return, he’ll need a sparring partner.

If you engage in a duel with him and assist in keeping his dueling skills sharp, he’ll share with you what he believes to be the greatest love story ever told. To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within one hour (three hours for Year 6+). All five stars are required to pass.

There are bonus progress actions tied to Diego and your character. It is worth noting that your character will have bonus progress actions more often, and prioritizing it will save you more energy.

You will be quite fascinated by his story, but you will be surprised that he talked about his love for dancing.

Although your date probably didn’t have in mind to collect stories about his love of dance he will ask you if you agree that it is still a great love story. You can respond in two different ways. This choice won’t have a significant impact on the story, but if you like Diego, it is recommended to pick the first option.

Diego will advise you to ask Charlie Weasly if you want a more “traditional” love story. If you complete the “Ticket to Love” adventure, you will get some additional lines of dialogue.

You’ll decide to meet Charlie in the corridor between classes. Go to the West Towers Corridor when you are ready to continue. Once there, you will meet Charlie. you will explain that you are collecting love stories for your date and that Diego thought he might have a good story about his parents. You will have an additional line of dialogue if you complete the “Ticket to Love” adventure.

Although he wants to help you, he will be less keen to talk about the love story of his parents.

He will ask you if you are upset with him. This choice won’t have a significant impact on the overall story, but if you like Charlie, it is recommended to pick the first option.

He’ll mention that he knows one story that will thrill you and your date. To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass.

There is one bonus progress action tied to Charlie. Prioritize this action to save some energy.

You will discover that Charlie’s love story revolves around two dragons, a revelation that you will find quite unusual.

You will disagree with Charlie that this is a proper love story. The choice you made while talking to your date in the courtyard will impact the next line of dialogue.

Charlie will admit that he didn’t tell you a love story.

You will wonder where you can find more romantic stories because so far you didn’t have any luck. Charlie will mention that you could try the Library. He goes there to read about the dragons, but he’ll be sure there are books about love. You will like this idea.

Go to the Library when you are ready. Once you are there, you will start searching for a good book full of love stories.

You will collect a lot of books and place them on the table. Moments later, Madam Pince will approach you and urge you to be more careful. She will then ask if she can help you. You can respond to her in two ways. This choice won’t have a significant impact on the story, so feel free to choose an option you like. It is worth noting that the Librarian will think you are rude if you choose the first option.

Luckily, she will know in which section you should search. For the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass.

Actions with bonus progress are tied to your character, Madam Pince, and the student sitting on the right.

You will thank Madam Pince for the help. The following line will differ, based on your previous choice.

You will be worried that all of the books are too academic, but Madam Pince won’t see a problem with that. The following lines of dialogue will differ, based on who you chose to be your date.

Madam Pince will tell you that the books in a school library are supposed to be academic but if you want something more entertaining you could visit Flourish & Blotts.

Go to the Flourish & Blotts when you are ready. Once there, you can check what customers of the shop have to say by tapping on the speech bubbles above their heads. Madam Villanelle will be eager to help you. You will explain to her that you are searching for love stories and that the Hogwarts library had books on love, but they were a bit stuffy.

She will be confident that you can find the books you want but she’ll need to know what sorts of love stories you prefer so she can point you in the right direction. This choice won’t have a significant impact on the story, but it will be referenced later.

To gather great stories, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. It is recommended to start this task with your energy bar full.

There is only one bonus progress action and it’s tied to Madam Villanelle. Prioritize this action to save a bit of energy. Don’t forget to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions.

Luckily, you will find plenty of books about love. Your previous choice will be referenced here.

Madam Villanelle will mention that these stories are bestsellers. You will start to get worried about these books being too popular.

At first, Madam Villanelle won’t see what is the problem, but you will explain that maybe it’s better to have less familiar stories. The following lines of dialogue will differ based on who your date is.

You will be worried that these stories are too well-known to impress your date. Madam Villanelle will understand your point. She will mention that she does know one story that you couldn’t find in any book. She will say that it’s a bit personal story, so you should go somewhere a little more discreet after she closes the shop. She will invite you to the Leaky Cauldron to tell you an unforgettable love story.
