Me and My Malaclaw Part 2 & Part 3

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough section for Me and My Malaclaw Part 2 of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery!  In the previous part, you discovered that the Malaclaw requires a special diet to prepare for moulting. With Tonks’ help, you managed to get it to eat, but the creature remained anxious. Seeking advice, you visited Hagrid, who, after a small pumpkin mishap, suggested that the next step should be improving Malaclaw’s mood.

Now, in Part 2, you will focus on lifting the creature’s spirits. With Hagrid’s guidance, you’ll explore ways to make the Malaclaw feel more comfortable and ensure a successful moulting process.

Proceed to the Clocktower Courtyard when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. As soon as you arrive, Tonks will inform you that she brought all her best jokes and toys to cheer up your Mackled Malaclaw.

To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Mackled Malaclaw and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

The Malaclaw will look very excited and much happier.

However, Tonks won’t be sure whether the creature is happy or threatening her, so she will ask for your opinion. There are two different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

You will notice that Malaclaw looks cheered up but also a bit riled up. You will suggest helping the creature release its energy before it moults.

Go to the Training Grounds to exercise your Malaclaw. When you arrive, you will comment that the creature now has plenty of space to run and burn off its energy so it can finally relax. Then, Tonks will provoke the Malaclaw, which will start chasing her.

To play with the Malaclaw, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Tonks and Mackled Malaclaw. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

You will comment that after all this chasing, the creature is finally ready to rest. You will add that, according to your research, Mackled Malaclaws build dens before they moult so they have a safe place to rest and recover after shedding their protective shell.

Tonks will ask you where you think the creature’s den is. The correct answer is “Opean Ocean”.

Shortly after, you will notice that your creature is fussing with its shell.

Proceed to the Opean Ocean when you are ready. When you arrive, you will see that the Malaclaw has already found a spot, but it is not finished yet. Therefore, you need to help it complete the den before it moults.

To finish the den, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to the Malaclaw and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

Once you finish, you will wish your creature good luck with its moulting. You and Tonks will then comment on how beautiful this place is, and she will ask you if you think it would be a nice place to live. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Now it’s time to let your creature rest and go through the natural process undisturbed. Since you shouldn’t interfere, you will decide to head to Hagrid’s to see if he has gotten himself into any trouble.

Go to the Hospital Wing to talk with Hagrid. When you arrive, Hagrid will be waiting for you, once again having trouble with pumpkins, so he will need your help.

After some time, you will manage to get Hagrid out of the pumpkins, and he will be very grateful. You will update him about the creature, but it will take a little convincing to assure him that everything will be fine.

There will be no issues accessing the quiz, as the required stats match your levels. The quiz will cost 150 Coins to participate. Additionally, all the questions and correct answers will be listed below.

After that, your friend Hagrid will feel much better. He will say that the end of his bad luck is approaching, and you will suggest that you meet up at the Mackled Malaclaw’s den once it finishes its natural process.

Proceed to the Open Ocean when you are ready. When you arrive, Hagrid and Tonks will already be there. Tonks will mention that the Mackled Malaclaw is about to finish moulting, but it will seem a bit shy as it hasn’t left its spot. Tonks will then ask you about this.

There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

In any case, you will notice that the creature is very nervous, so you will suggest that you should help it relax and encourage it to come out.

To encourage the Malaclaw, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

This will encourage the creature, and it will emerge with its new shell, which looks shiny and vibrant.

Following that, Hagrid will say that he has a gift for you to show his appreciation for your help with the Mackled Malaclaw.

This will mark the end of Me and My Malaclaw Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 2 Chocolate Frogs, R3 Diary Pack, and 200 Hagrid XP.

Malaclaw Necklace & Bracelet will be added to your wardrobe.
