Walkthrough
Go to the Transfiguration Classroom to start the first task. Professor McGonagall will start presenting the newest cross-year extracurricular assignment. You will guess correctly that eggs in front of each student will be an integral part of this assignment.

To hear all details about the assignment, earn three stars within three hours.

There will be only one bonus progress action, and it is tied to Professor McGonagall. Prioritize actions tied to her to save some energy.
You will summarize the goals of the assignment: you’ll need to take care of the egg and be its guardian. The professor will add that the assignment will be concluded with a verbal report on your learnings on parenthood and your egg. Each egg is a different Magical Creature egg that McGonagall transfigured to disguise its appearance. The reason for this is to emulate the chaotic challenge of being a parent, and students need to discern the unique needs of their eggs.
The professor will encourage you to seek out parental figures for advice, and in preparation for your final report. All the eggs will hatch at roughly the same time, and when they do, students should return to the Transfiguration Classroom.
If you are Year 6 or higher, you will start chatting with Charlie Weasley. Otherwise, you will start chatting with Bill Weasley, with some small dialogue differences. Charlie will be present in this guide.

Charlie will be excited about the eggs. He will ask you what you are looking forward to the most in the assignment. Choose any option you like.
Charlie will mention that he has permission from Professor McGonagall to travel to his home, The Burrow, to talk with his mom, and he will ask you to join him, which your character will accept. Go to the Weasley House at the Borrow to continue the story.
You and Chrlie will meet Molly Weasley, who will welcome you warmly. The greetings may vary based on whether you met Molly before or not. You will ask Molly to help you with the assignment, but she will be preoccupied with the chores. If you help her finish the chores, she will be able to help you.

To assist Molly, you’ll need to earn three stars within three hours.

Bonus progress actions will be tied to the frying pan and Charlie (or Bill instead of Charlie). Prioritize these actions to save some energy.
Molly will be grateful for your help. She will feel great relief, and she’ll mention how children need to help their parents with chores. Charlie will disagree and claim that it’s her job to raise him and the other children, which includes doing regular chores.

Charlie will ask for your opinion on the matter. Choose the option you believe in.
Molly will explain that her asking you to help her was one way of teaching you about parenting because juggling caring for your children and your other responsibilities in life is an everyday task as a mother. She will then wonder where your eggs are and if they are inside the nests. She will be shocked that neither you nor her son didn’t place your eggs inside nests.
You won’t be sure what kind of nest your egg needs, or whether your couch cushion could serve the purpose, so you will decide to ask the Magical Creatures expert, Hagrid, for advice. Molly promised she will arrive at Hogwarts soon to teach you and other students more about parenting.
Go to Hagrid’s Garden to continue the story. The next scene will be in Hagrid’s Hut, but in the game, you’ll have to click on Hagrid’s Garden to activate the scene.
You’ll ask Hagrid for help, and you’ll explain to him your extracurricular assignment. You’ll explain that the egg was magically transfigured, so you can’t know which creature it is, and you’ll need to create a nest for the egg. Hagrid will mention that Professor McGonagall told him about the assignment, and he expected students to ask him for advice.

Hagrid will show you the Never-tangle wool. He will explain that you can create a nest from it, and it would be a great first step in creating the perfect nest for your mystery egg. The Never-tangle wool is soft and holds heat well.

To assemble the nest using Never-tangle wool, you will need to collect three stars within three hours.

Two bonus progress actions will be tied to Hagrid. Prioritize actions tied to him to save some energy.

You’ll manage to create the nest, and you will look at your finished hard work. Hagrid will be fascinated, and he will be glad that you are learning about appreciating mothers. He will explain that he is somewhat of a “mummy” to Magical Creatures and how it is tough to be a parent. You’ll ask Hagrid to tell you about his parents.

He will ask you whether you are more interested in hearing about his mom or dad, because both of them have completely different stories. Pick an option that interests you more.
After Hagrid’s topic about his parents, Hagrid will mention that your egg will probably need some warmth to hatch. He will vaguely suggest some magical solution. You’ll decide to do your research in the Library.
Go to the Library to continue the story. First, you’ll decide to check some books on heating spells, but Tonks will appear and interrupt you. She will also seek answers on how to keep her egg warm, and she will kindly offer to join and help you in the research.

To research the Heating Spells, you’ll need to earn three stars within three hours.

There will be only one bonus action tied to Tonks. Prioritize actions tied to her to save some energy.

After the research, you and Tonks will narrow down the possible solutions for your problem. You’ll need to pick between the Flame-Freezing Charm and the Hot Air Charm. The correct answer is the “Flame-Freezing Charm”.
The dialogue will differ based on whether you already know the Flame-Freezing Charm or not, but either way, you’ll decide to go to Professor Flitwick to either practice the spell or learn it for the first time. Tonks will decide to go home and ask her mom to teach her this spell, but she will be conflicted about it because she wants to grow up and be more independent.

Tonks will then ask you what you think is the worst: branching out from your parents too soon, or being coddled by them for too long. Feel free to choose the option you like. It will not influence the story, only some dialogue later.
Either way, Tonks will decide to visit her mom and spend some time with her, and she will decide if she wants her help later. She will advise you to talk with her mom, Andromeda, as well, and you could learn something valuable for the assignment.
This will mark the end of Part 1 of the Mother Hens Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 300 Coins.
Will the Flame-Freezing Charm work, and will it be enough for your egg? Find out in the next part!
Thank you for reading.
