Hello everyone, welcome to Part 3 of our Walkthrough for Now Hiring in Hogsmeade Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous part, you teamed up with Lenny to help Honeydukes prepare for the final day of the Hogsmeade Street Fair.

Together, you created a brand-new summer sweet with a refreshing twist, though it caused a bit of unexpected chaos when Tulip and Mr. Flume froze after tasting it! Luckily, with a bit of quick thinking and fiery sweets, you resolved the situation and earned Mr. Flume’s gratitude. Now, with Honeydukes behind you and another shift ahead, it’s time to join Tulip at the Three Broomsticks and see what surprises await in your next fair adventure.

Proceed to the Three Broomsticks when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive, you’ll notice that Tulip seems quite unhappy with her job. You’ll reassure her by saying she’s not alone—Lenny also had a rough start. At that moment, Madam Rosmerta will approach and mention that she needs help, handing Tulip an entire list of tasks to complete.

You’ll be surprised that Madam Rosmerta accepted you right away, but she’ll explain that she heard you did an excellent job at Maestro’s shop and Honeydukes—so there’s no need for second thoughts. Following that, you’ll get straight to work helping Madam Rosmerta with her tasks.

To clean the Three Broomsticks, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

In the first phase, bonus progress actions are tied to the witch near the fireplace.

In the second phase, bonus progress actions are tied to Tulip. 

Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Fortunately, you’ll finish all the tasks rather quickly, but you’ll soon notice that Tulip is nowhere to be found. It seems she left before everything was completed. Madam Rosmerta will approach to thank you for your hard work, but she’ll also express concern, wondering where Tulip might have gone. 

There are two options to choose from. If you like Tulip, it is recommended to pick the first option.

Madam Rosmerta will tell you that you can take a short break before continuing. Just then, an owl will arrive with a letter—it’s from Tulip. She’s in the Owlery and asks you to come meet her there. Curious and a bit concerned, you’ll decide to head straight to the Owlery to find out what’s going on and why she left the Three Broomsticks so suddenly.

Go to the Owlery to continue the story. When you arrive at the Owlery, you’ll ask Tulip why she left and why she abandoned you to finish everything alone. She’ll respond by asking if Madam Rosmerta noticed her disappearance.

These lines will differ based on your previous choice. 

You’ll ask Tulip to tell you what’s going on and why she left the Three Broomsticks so suddenly. After a bit of gentle convincing, she’ll finally agree to open up and share what’s been bothering her.

You’ll realize that Tulip’s parents forced her to take on a summer job to build her work ethic. They want her to become more disciplined, but Tulip isn’t used to that kind of structure. She’s used to freedom, to soaring through life like an owl in flight. She’ll admit, a bit sheepishly, that she feels embarrassed for leaving you behind and came here to hide among the owls.

There are two options to choose from. If you like Tulip, it is recommended to pick the first option.

She’ll also ask you how she’s supposed to stay motivated at work. There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

In any case, Tulip will decide it’s time to head back together and help Madam Rosmerta with whatever else needs to be done.

In any case, Madam Rosmerta will tell you that there are no more tasks left and everything has been taken care of. However, even with nothing left to do, Tulip will be determined to help out and head off to write down some orders on paper. 

Meanwhile, at a nearby table, you’ll overhear a wizard and a witch talking about the stolen peppermint from Madam Puddifoot’s. You’ll quickly approach Tulip and ask her to eavesdrop with you—hoping to uncover who might be behind the theft. She’ll happily agree to help.

To Eavesdrop on Patrons, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

In the first phase, bonus progress actions are tied to the man you are eavesdropping on.

In the second phase, bonus progress actions are tied to the witch near Tulip.

Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

You’ll learn that the thief is now being referred to as the “Peppermint Bandit” and that his plans involve stealing even more from various Hogsmeade shops. However, as you’re eavesdropping, a man nearby will catch your attention. He’s muttering nervously about there being “lots of eyes here” and wondering “where to go next,” which immediately raises suspicion. Convinced that he must be the culprit, Tulip will turn to you and ask how you plan to handle the situation.

There are two different options to choose from. Both of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

No matter what you choose to do, the Peppermint Bandit will panic and flee out into the streets. You, Tulip, and Madam Rosmerta will immediately chase after him, determined to catch up and finally uncover who’s behind the recent thefts in Hogsmeade.

Proceed to Hogsmeade when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. Madam Rosmerta is determined to track him down—he didn’t even pay his bill. But with Hogsmeade teeming with people, spotting him won’t be easy, so you suggest that the three of you split up to find him faster.

To look for the peppermint bandit, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Madam Rosmerta and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

However, you won’t be lucky enough to find him—he’s probably already left Hogsmeade. Madam Rosmerta will approach you and ask why you’re so determined to catch this Peppermint Bandit. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Afterward, Madam Rosmerta will thank you for your help and offer a special reward if you choose to work with her on the final day. Now it’s up to you to decide. You’ll decide to talk with your friends a bit to make a decision about where you’ll work on the fair’s final day.
