Portrait Panic Part 4
Introduction
Hello everyone, welcome to Part 4 of our Walkthrough for Portrait Panic Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. During the previous part, you convinced Percival Pratt to leave the party and return to his painting by reciting the poem you wrote. Unfortunately, instead of talking to the Fat Lady, Violet decided to focus her attention on Giffard Abbott.
You figured out that in order to get Giffard to leave, you would need to find his missing dog. Thanks to Hagrid’s help, you were able to locate the missing dog, and Giffard agreed to leave the party. Afterward, Violet decided to return to her painting as well, but the Fat Lady refused to do so. To make things worse, Jae gave up trying to fix things. Having no other options, you decide to see Violet and ask her to return to the party and convince the Fat Lady to return to her painting.

Proceed to the corridor in West Towers once you are ready to meet with Violet. When you arrive, you will spot Professor McGonagall standing near Violet’s portrait.
You’ll inform her that you’re close to resolving everything, which will bring her happiness upon hearing.
You will then tell her that you still need to talk to Violet. You will approach the portrait and say that you have something important to talk about. Violet will immediately recognize you as the one responsible for chasing off the portrait characters from the party.
She will make it clear that she’s upset with you for ruining the party. There are two options to reply with. You can either apologize to her or defend your actions. Both options will lead to the same outcome, so feel free to go with whichever one you prefer.
You will then tell her that you need her to return to the Three Broomsticks painting and apologize to the Fat Lady. She will be surprised by your request.
You will quickly decide to explain everything to her. Talking to Violet requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, so avoid starting this task if you are low on energy.
There is a reward action tied to your character. Focus on your actions if you want to save a bit of energy.
You will tell Violet that she completely ignored the Fat Lady at the party, which made her upset.
Violet will realize that you are right about that. She will decide to head back to the party and apologize to the Fat Lady.
Professor McGonagall will remind you that you still need to return the Fat Lady and the others to their paintings if you want to avoid detention.
She will wonder why Jae is not with you. You’ll explain that Jae is mad at you because his birthday got ruined.
Professor McGonagall will advise you to listen to your friend and she will suggest that you find Jae and talk to him.
In the meantime, she will head back to the Grand Staircase to keep order. You will thank her for the advice before leaving the place. You will need to wait four hours until you can continue. Since you will probably be low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait and let your energy recharge in the meantime.
Go to the kitchens once the waiting time is over. Upon arriving, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the house elves. Tap on those if you are curious to see what they have to say. You will be surprised to find Jae in the kitchens.
He’ll say that he is getting ready for detention. You will tell him that you managed to convince Violet to apologize to the Fat Lady.
You’ll also say that you realized something while talking to her. Jae will give you a questioning look.
Before telling him about it, you should suggest preparing some sandwiches first.
Preparing sandwiches requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.
Luckily, there are several bonus actions available during this task, which should help you save some energy.
You will tell Jae that you realized you ignored his wishes and never asked him what he wanted to do.
Jae will wonder if you are trying to apologize to him or criticize him. There are two options to choose from. If you like Jae, it is recommended to apologize to him.
Shortly after, Tonks will arrive and say that Professor McGonagall wants to see Jae and you in the Grand Staircase. You will figure out that it has something to do with the portraits.
Still, there is a chance that the Fat Lady returned to her portrait.
The alternative would mean that both Jae and you will end up in detention. In any case, you will decide to go to the Grand Staircase and see Professor McGonagall. Proceed to the Grand Staircase when you are ready to continue. Once you arrive, you will be able to interact with some of your friends and see what they have to say. You will notice that the Fat Lady is back in her portrait.
Professor McGonagall will be glad to see Jae and you.
Upon hearing that the Fat Lady has returned and admitted a large group of Gryffindor students, with Jae noticing her improved mood, you decide to approach the Professor and inquire whether this change might mean that both you and Jae will avoid detention.
She will say that she hasn’t made the decision yet. She will ask you to tell her what you’ve learned from the recent experience.
Discussing what you’ve learned requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, which is why you shouldn’t start this task if your energy bar is empty.
There are bonus actions tied to Professor McGonagall, Jae, and your character. Focus on those if you want to save some energy.
You will tell the Professor the most important thing you learned from the whole experience.
Jae will also say a few words.
After considering things for a moment, Professor McGonagall will decide that neither of you is going to receive detention. Instead, she will suggest that you both go and enjoy some Butterbeer at the Three Broomsticks.
You and Jae will tell her that the inn got closed following the accident involving a misfiring wand. That was pretty much the reason why you asked Badeea to paint the scene at the Three Broomsticks.
Professor McGonagall will tell you that she spoke with Madam Rosmerta and convinced her to open the inn.
She will assume that Jae still wishes to celebrate at the Three Broomsticks. You can choose to ask Jae what he wants or answer for him. If you like Jae, it is highly recommended to pick the first option.
Needless to say, your friend will be happy to get the chance to celebrate his birthday at the Three Broomsticks.
Before you leave, Professor McGonagall will wish Jae a happy birthday, and she will congratulate you on a job well done.
Shortly after, Jae and you will leave the place. Head to the Three Broomsticks once you are ready to attend Jae’s party. Upon arriving, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you are curious to see what they have to say. You will wish Jae a happy birthday.
He will thank you and say that he isn’t used to celebrating his birthday with so many people.
He will, however, admit that it feels nice having everyone around. He will be curious about what you consider most important at this moment. There are three options to choose from. If you like Jae, it is recommended to pick the first or the second option.
Shortly after, you will start celebrating. Celebrating Jae’s birthday requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.
Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all the available actions. There are bonus actions tied to Jae, Badeea, Barnaby, and your character. Prioritize those if you want to save as much energy as possible.
Jae will thank you for everything you’ve done.
You’ll feel pleased that he’s enjoying his birthday party, and he’ll express his happiness about celebrating with people who genuinely care. Once more, you’ll wholeheartedly wish him a happy birthday.
This will mark the end of Part 4 of the Portrait Panic adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 4 Gems, 1000 Experience Points, and 3 Chocolate Frogs
You will earn the achievement for completing the adventure.
Other than that, the painting of the Fanged Puffskein will be placed in your dormitory. Occasionally, you will be able to tap on it to receive energy.
That was an interesting adventure, to say the least. While your initial idea to help Jae celebrate his birthday didn’t go as planned, you were able to fix things and everything turned out well in the end. On top of that, you learned a valuable lesson about friendship.
Thank you for reading and see you soon with more amazing adventures!
