Professor Flitwick will be worried because if this obstacle fails to protect a certain secret item, there will be terrible consequences. Both of you will conclude that this obstacle needs to be more challenging. You will wonder if there is another way to throw off the seeker’s concentration.
Professor Flitwick will ask you what you have in mind. The correct answer is “More keys”.
The professor will be very grateful for your help.
You will find out that your next assignment is to help Professor McGonagall. Her obstacle involves wizard’s chess.
Go to the Main Hall to continue the story. Once you are there, you will notice that there is a giant chessboard there with chess figures.
The way you greet Professor McGonagall will differ based on whether you completed the Harry’s Troll Problem Adventure or not. If you haven’t completed this adventure, the dialogue will have additional variations depending on your choice in Chapter 5.
If you completed The Curse-Breaker’s Gambit Adventure, you will have an additional line of dialogue.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Professor McGonagall and the chessboard. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.
You will find out that the obstacle is not only a game of wizard’s chess, but the player is also one of the pieces. To test the challenge, you will take your position on the chessboard as a pawn and Professor McGonagall will attack you with a knight figure.
The professor will ask you which of your pieces are in position to take the white knight. The correct answer is “Queen”.
You will tell Professor McGonagall that this obstacle can cause a serious injury to the player. She will point out how obstacles are important.
Professor McGonagall will thank you for your help. She’ll inform you that you need to meet with Professor Snape next.

Professor Quirrell will inform you that he is part of Dumbledore’s mission. He already contributed to the obstacles and now he wants to know if everything else is running smoothly. He will politely ask you to update him on the situation so far.
This choice won’t have a significant impact on the story but it is recommended to choose the second option to respect Dumbledore’s orders. You will also gain more respect from Professor Snape.
Whatever you choose, Professor Snape will arrive and interrupt your conversation. He will state that he doesn’t require any help and Professor Quirrell will leave the classroom. Snape will claim that he doesn’t require help from you either. You will respond politely.
If you completed Harry’s Troll Problem Adventure he will bring that up.
He will be stubborn to reveal any secret of his obstacle to you. You can react and respond in two different ways. Feel free to choose the option you like. The professor will like you more if you choose the first option.
The dialogue will have additional variations depending on whether you choose earlier to reveal your progress to Professor Quirrell or not.
In the end, he will only reveal to you that his obstacle involves potions. You will decide to help the next professor, who is also one of your old good friends.
This will mark the end of Part 2 of the Protecting the Stone Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 3 Gems and 1 Chocolate Frog.
