Pumpkin Johnny Rises Part 3
Introduction
Hello everyone, welcome to Part 3 of our Walkthrough for Pumpkin Johnny Rises Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous part, you encountered a mysterious creature that you thought was Pumpkin Johnny, but it turned out to be something else. This creature attacked you, but you managed to defend yourself and remove the pumpkin from its head using the Flipendo charm. Although it still posed a threat, you made a quick escape.
After discussing the situation with Tonks, you both realized that this creature was actually a charmed skeleton. Together, you researched how to deal with charmed skeletons and discovered that most offensive jinxes should work against them. Following this, you practiced offensive spells with Professor Flitwick, who advised you to be careful.

(Disclaimer: this walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a graduate student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 3 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on your current progress with the main story.)
Proceed to the Godric’s Hollow Graveyard when you are ready. When you get there, you’ll point out to Tonks the exact spot where you saw the skeleton holding Ismelda’s scarf.

You will warn her to be careful, then you’ll go closer to the scarf. She’ll mention that she can only see the scarf and not the skeleton.

Right at that moment, a skeleton will suddenly appear behind Tonks.

You will try to tell her not to turn around.



You’ll become aware of the presence of two skeletons, and fortunately, you’ll evade them, but they’ll pursue you.

To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start this task with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to the second skeleton and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

When you’re done, you’ll decide to cast Immobulus to stop skeletons. Trace the wand movement to cast Immobulus.


After you hit them with the Immobulus charm, the skeletons will be frozen.

A bit later, two more skeletons will suddenly appear, surprising you. You’ll admit that you’re not ready for them and propose to Tonks that you both find a safer spot to regroup before more skeletons surround you.

There’s a waiting period of three hours before you can regroup with Tonks. Since your energy is likely low following the previous task, it is somewhat recommended to wait until this timer expires. That will be enough time for your energy to fully regenerate.

Once the waiting time is over, head to the Lakeshore. When you meet, Tonks will comment that the situation was intense.

Tonks will thank you for alerting her about the skeleton, and you’ll also thank her. She’ll mention that she wouldn’t know what to do if you weren’t there and also state her belief that it wasn’t Pumpkin Johnny. You’ll add that it’s something even more dangerous than what the story told. Tonks will agree with you, saying those skeletons had intentions beyond turning your heads into pumpkins.

You will wonder if there might be more of them and suggest making a plan. To devise a plan, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start this task with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Tonks and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

Once you’re finished, you’ll choose to have a conversation with Ismelda. Tonks will mention that all of this began when Ismelda wanted Pumpkin Johnny to return. You’ll agree with her and remind her that Ismelda was the one who told you about Pumpkin Johnny in Godric’s Hollow.

Tonks will express her doubt that Ismelda knows more, but she will also say that there is a possibility that this is all a coincidence. Then Tonks will ask which approach you think you should use when questioning Ismelda. There are two options to choose from. If you like Ismelda it is recommended to pick the second option. Both of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

After that, Tonks will inform you that Ismelda hasn’t been easy to find since she brought her back to Hogwarts.

You will suggest splitting up to cover the ground as much as possible. Tonks will agree with you and tell you to stay in touch, and that she will let you know if she finds her.

Proceed to the Boathouse when you are ready. When you arrive you will see that Ismelda is not there.

You’ll decide not to leave the area until you thoroughly search it. To search the Boathouse, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start this task with a full energy bar.

The only bonus progress action is tied to the boat. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

Once you’ve completed searching the Boathouse, you’ll hear some noises emanating from the boat.

This line will differ based on your previous choice.

Thereafter, Ismelda will peek out from the boat.

When she sees you, Ismelda will climb down from the boat and greet you. You’ll tell her that you and Tonks have been looking for her, and Ismelda will explain that she’s still recovering from what happened in Godric’s Hollow.


You’ll add that three more skeletons appeared. These lines will differ based on your previous choice.


She’ll then confess to you that she made a terrible mistake and that she meddled with forces she shouldn’t have. You’ll be curious, so you’ll ask her to explain everything. Ismelda will admit that she did indeed attempt to summon Pumpkin Johnny by tapping on a pumpkin and saying his name three times, but nothing occurred, and her impatience got the better of her.
You’ll ask her what she did then, and she will say that she needed a way to strike fear into people and to make them think it was Pumpkin Johnny. So, she put a pumpkin on a skeleton’s head and studied Piertotum Locomotor to reanimate it.

She’ll reveal to you that by chance, instead of one skeleton, she charmed more than one. You will ask her how many exactly, and she’ll say that she is not sure and that she thinks that only four skeletons are charmed. She’ll also add that she accidentally made them way more aggressive than she originally intended.
Ismelda will add that she wanted more power, to be able to show everyone Hallowe’en is something to be feared again. You can reply in three ways. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

After that, she will say that she wants to tell you something, and that is that she has gathered enough courage to go back to Godric’s Hollow.

She’ll add with fear that the skeletons have already gone away from Godric’s Hollow.

You’ll tell her you’ll help stop them, and she’ll thank you. Additionally, you’ll mention that you can’t do it alone and need some help.

Go to the Clocktower Courtyard to continue the story. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. You will approach your friends and greet them.

Ben will ask you if your meeting is related to the rumors. You’ll ask him to explain which rumors he’s referring to, and he’ll mention the rumors about something sinister happening near Godric’s Hollow.

He’ll ask if it’s about Pumpkin Johnny, but you’ll say it’s not and explain that it’s about four charmed skeletons in Godric’s Hollow. You’ll tell them you were with Tonks and that you’ve used Immobulus on two of them, but the other two managed to escape from Godric’s Hollow.


Following that, you’ll mention the need to quickly pursue the remaining skeletons to prevent them from causing harm to innocent people.

You’ll recommend that, before you go, it’s a good idea to come up with a plan for dealing with the skeletons swiftly and without drawing attention. To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start this task with a full energy bar.

The only bonus progress action is tied to your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

When you finish, you will decide to split into teams of two and search for the skeletons in order to cover more ground that way. You’ll add that you should be able to finish them and be back in time for the Halloween Feast.

Ben will want to know how the skeletons became charmed. There are two options to choose from. If you like Ismelda, it is recommended to pick the second option. Both of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Afterward, Ben will mention that Tonks and he will search Hogwarts.
