Rowan’s Family Tree Part 4

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 4 of the Rowan’s Family Tree Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery!

In the previous part, Hazel admitted what has been happening all the time. Somebody was sabotaging the Khanna Farm while the farm owed a huge loan to the Gringotts bank. The entire business is in danger. You decided to place the magical trap on the Bowtruckle house you’ve made. You and Rowan researched the financial records of the Khanna Farm, and you concluded that somebody consistently wanted to buy the farm’s land but was rejected. Ruining the farm business may lower the price of the land.

The trap worked, and Dobby was captured. He admitted that he was sent by his master, Lucius Malfoy, to sabotage the farm. Meanwhile, the Gringotts bank is getting impatient and might demand the farm’s sale soon.

Before continuing the story, there will be a waiting time of six hours. After the waiting time is over, go to Diagon Alley.

Surprise! You will accidentally meet none other than Lucius Malfoy. He will not be amused to see you, of course. He will also mention that he is on his way to finalize a very important purchase. He will claim that he is the new owner of the Khanna Farm. After several unpleasant dialogues, Mr. Malfoy will offer to explain to you how the “real world works”.

To complete the next task, you’ll need to earn five stars within three hours.

There will be only one bonus progress action, and it will be tied to Lucius Malfoy. Prioritize actions tied to him to save some energy.

You will find out that Mr. Malfoy offered to pay Khanna Farm’s debts in exchange for its land, which Gringotts found reasonable due to the farm’s bad financial position.

You can reply to Lucius the way you think is best. He will soon leave you, and you’ll decide to continue to Gringotts. Go there to continue the story.

Once you are at the bank, you will witness Hazel trying to change the banker’s mind, without success. The banker will mention that due to the farm’s financial straits, it would take a very persuasive argument for him to turn down Lucius’s offer. You and Rowan will step in and offer to explain the new plan to the banker.

To present the financial plan, you’ll need to earn five stars within three hours.

There will be only one bonus progress action, and it will be tied to the banker. Prioritize actions tied to him to save some energy.

The plan you will present will depend on your previous choice when you picked one of Rowan’s ideas. The banker will be intrigued, but he will point out that any change for the farm demands more money, and he will ask you how you will accomplish that.

Choose any idea. All of the ideas will be interesting to the banker, but he will mention that you won’t be able to implement any of them without first increasing your income. The banker will give you until the end of the day to secure the sale of the wand wood, a significant value. If you fail, Gringotts will accept Mr. Malfoy’s offer. The banker will point out that both Khannas must remain in the bank to discuss the details of their financial plan, which means you alone must find the buyer of a large bulk order of wand wood.

Rowan will ask you who might have the most use for a bulk order. The correct answer is “Mr. Ollivander”. Go to Ollivander’s shop next.

Once there, Mr. Ollivander will assume your wand is broken. You will explain that you are on behalf of the Khanna Farm and that you want to sell a large quantity of wood at a considerable discount. The only catch is that he would need to pay upfront which he will not like.

You will have a chance to offer Mr. Ollivander a bonus. The best option will be to offer Rowan’s financial advice. Mr. Ollivander will think about it, but luckily, he will mention a pattern happening in his business, similar to Khanna Farm. An anonymous party wants to buy his shop, and plenty of strange accidents are happening in the shop after that. You’ll think you know what is happening, and you will offer to tell Mr. Ollivander everything. If you help Mr. Olivander in protecting his business, he will seriously consider your request on behalf of Khanna Farm.

To complete the next task, you’ll need to collect five stars within three hours.

There will be only one bonus progress action, and it is tied to the boxes on the shelves. Prioritize actions tied to them to save some energy.

You will explain to Mr. Olivander that Lucius Malfoy is using the same tactics to destroy Ollivander’s shop. Mr. Ollivander will realize that if Lucius manages to buy both the farm and the shop, he will dominate the wand market and drive up the price of wands for everyone.

Fortunately, after this revelation, Mr. Ollivander will accept working with you, and he will order a bulk purchase of wand woods from Khanna Farm. He will send the word of the payment to Gringotts. After thanking him, you will decide to go to the Gringotts bank to tell Hazel and Rowan the news. First, go to Diagon Alley.

You will meet with Rowan in Diagon Valley, when suddenly, Lucius Malfoy will appear. After Lucius being rude, you will decide to confront him and tell him everything you’ve figured out so far.

To complete the next task, earn five stars within eight hours. Begin the task when the energy bar is full.

There will be only one bonus progress action, and it is tied to your character. Prioritize actions tied to your character to save some energy.

You will tell Lucius that you know he is behind all the accidents in the Khanna Farm and Ollivanders. Mr. Malfoy will demand proof of your claims.

You can choose one of the three ways to reply, but the third one might be most effective. Shortly after, you will tell him you will inform the Wizarding world about his deeds, and that Hazel is finalizing the new plan in Gringotts that will allow Khannas to keep control of the farm. You will also mention that you’ve secured a major infusion of income from a generous buyer of wand woods.

Mr. Malfoy will leave, threatening you. Shortly after, you and Rowan will decide to celebrate with Hazel on the farm. Go to the Family Tree in Khanna Farm to continue the adventure.

Once you all sit near the family tree, you will remember that Rowan still needs to decide which branch he will add to the tree. You will decide to help by making a list of things that define Rowan, like his strengths, passions, and favorite things.

To complete the next task, earn five stars within eight hours. Start this task only when your energy bar is full.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Rowan and Hazel. Prioritize actions tied to them to save some energy.

After many ideas, you’ll need to narrow them down. The dialogue in the picture above will vary depending on one of your previous choices.

Rowan will explain that he wants to continue the same path you and he started at Hogwarts. He will remember how you, together, protected your friends and the school, sometimes at great risk. Rowan will then place the branch on the family tree using his wand.

Next, you’ll need to use the Herbivicus Charm to grow the flowers Rowan desires.

The Wiggentree flowers will grow. The bark of the Wiggentree is used to make a powerful healing potion. It is also useful for potion-making, magical wards, and self-defence. Just touching the Wiggentree bark is enough to protect from Dark Creatures. This way, Rowan will symbolically protect the Khanna Farm, even from afar.

You’ll explain to Rowan that he protected the farm in his unique way. It was his intellect and attention to detail that helped save Khanna Farm.

You’ll notice that Bowtruckles like the Rowan’s Wiggentree branch. Hazel will have an idea to hang the Bowtruckle house on this branch.

Shortly after, Rowan will ask you what you’ll remember most from your visit to Khanna Farm. Choose the option you like the most.

A bittersweet moment will come when you need to return to Hogwarts. Hazel will tell you that you will always be welcome. The Rowan’s branch will be a reminder that you and Rowan will always have a home at the Khanna farm.
