Hello everyone, welcome to Part 3 of the Rowan’s Family Tree Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery!
In the previous part, Rowan showed you his secret spot where he used to read, and he shared with you how he feels different compared to other Khanna family members. You’ve also built a new house for the Bowtruckles with the help of Hagrid and Needlefingers. Lastly, the sudden fire broke out, seemingly out of nowhere, burning the broomsticks stock that was ready for sale. Hazel was visibly upset, and she finally decided to tell you everything that was happening.

Walkthrough
In Khanna Farm, go to the Family Tree to continue the adventure. You will sit with Hazel and Rowan. Hazel will admit that the Khanna Farm is actually on the verge of financial ruin, and she didn’t want to worry you or Rowan with such details. You will be curious to hear more.

To learn the entire truth from Hazel, you’ll need to earn five stars within eight hours. Start this task when your energy bar is full.

Bonus progress actions are tied to the Bowtruckle house and Hazel. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.
Hazel will admit that running a farm is difficult even in the best of circumstances, but Khanna Farm has been plagued for months by mysterious acts of sabotage. Production has suffered, and there’s a danger that the farm will go bankrupt. Someone is sabotaging the farm, bypassing its protective enchantments. Hazel wanted to act brave all this time to avoid worrying Rowan. Rowan will realize that Hazel never doubted his abilities, and Hazel will apologize for making Rowan feel that way.
If Hazel doesn’t find the culprit, there will be no other choice but to sell the farm. She will have several theories on who the saboteur might be: A powerful witch or wizard, a non-human, or the traitor from within the Khanna Farm. These candidates can bypass the magical wards protecting the farm.

Choose which possibility you think is more likely. The correct answer is “Non-human”, but any other option won’t influence the story.
Hazel will suddenly realize there is a new Bowtruckle house on the table. She will be thrilled when she finds out that you and Rowan made it. But you will have an idea. You will use this house as a trap for the saboteur.
Go to the Work Area to continue the story. Hazel will explain that you will booby-trap the Bowtruckle house, then use it to lure the saboteur into the open. You will add that any attempt to remove the Bowtruckle house will activate the trap.

Rowan will ask you which spell you will use to booby-trap the Bowtruckle house. The correct answer is “Ebublio” because it will trap the sabouter in the bubble. It is simple, harmless, and effective. Everybody will like this idea.

To create the magical trap, you’ll need to earn five stars within three hours.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Fuzzclaw and Hazel. Prioritize actions tied to them to save some energy.

After successfully setting up the trap, Rowan will ask you what you plan to do once you capture the saboteur. Choose an option that better fits your character’s personality.
Unfortunately, Hazel will not be able to watch the trap since she needs to go to London to maintain the Gringotts ‘ financial support.
While waiting for the trap to be activated, go to the Reading Roost with Rowan. You will keep an eye on the trap from there. Rowan will mention how he reviewed the Khanna Farm’s financial documents, and he noticed they are rather poorly organised. He will conclude that accounting is not Hazel’s strong suit.

He will then ask you what your level of confidence is in the financial matters. Feel free to choose the option you like and add some lore to your character. You’ll decide to split the piles of paper in half, and maybe you will discover something that will help the Khanna Farm or a clue to identify whoever is out to ruin it.

To finish the next task, you’ll need to earn five stars within three hours.

Bonus progress actions are tied only to Rowan. Focus only on actions tied to him to save some energy.
From the research, you’ll discover that years before Hazel took over, an anonymous party made several offers to buy Khanna Farm, each of which was repeatedly rejected. You will suspect that the same person who wants to purchase the land might also want to put Khanna Farm out of business, which would lower the price of the land. You will also conclude that the farm owes a substantial sum to Gringotts.
You will be worried about the loans, but Rowan will have several ideas. You could use ministry farm subsidies to stabilise the farm’s position, update farming practices to sustainably improve yields and efficiency, or to explore additional sources of income so the farm will not rely entirely on one commodity. You will be surprised by Rowan’s financial expertise.

Rowan will have a hard time deciding which option is the best, so he will ask you to decide. Choose whichever option you like. This will influence some dialogue options later. Suddenly, you will hear the trap. Go to the Tree Rows to check who has been caught red-handed.

Once in the Tree Rows, you will see a Dobby trapped in a bubble. Because Dobby is a house-elf, he could bypass the magical wards of the farm. Dobby will be scared, and he will beg you to save him from the Bowtruckles. Once you release him from the bubble trap, he will be grateful and will mention that he was only carrying out his master’s orders.

To listen to everything that Dobby has to say, collect all five stars within eight hours. Start the task once your energy bar is full.

You will discover that Lucius Malfoy is behind everything, and he was sending Dobby to commit acts of destruction at Khanna Farm. Dobby made sure he didn’t hurt anybody, but he had no choice but to do some damage to the farm.

You can decide to let Dobby go or to hold him captive. It’s better to let him go because he will be very grateful. If you decide to hold him captive, he will just Apparate, and you won’t be able to stop him.

Shortly after, an owl will send Hazel’s letter to Rowan. The message will be: “Due to the losses from the recent burned broomstick shipment, Gringotts has determined that Khanna Farm is no longer financially viable.” Gringotts has threatened to call in its loan, even if it means forcing a sale of the Khanna Farm. Hazel stayed in London to plead her case. You and Rowan will decide to meet with Hazel at Gringotts and see if there’s anything you can do to help.
