Hello everyone, welcome to Part 1 of our Walkthrough for The Adult’s Guide to Dating Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. This adventure is available for Beyond Hogwarts Volume 1 Chapter 3, and once you unlock it, you will have 4 days and 13 hours to complete it. Valentine’s Day is a significant event, especially for adults experiencing it for the first time. It’s a time to cherish love and enjoy moments with your beloved. Yet, organizing it can be daunting. Thankfully, with the assistance of a helpful Auror-in-training, things might turn out well. However, unexpected work challenges could throw a wrench in your plans.

Proceed to the Ministry All-Purpose Room when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive, you’ll greet Tonks and ask her if she has any plans for Valentine’s Day.

However, she’ll tell you that she doesn’t have any plans and is considering just going to the Three Broomsticks for a few drinks. Then, she’ll ask you to join her, but you’ll tell her that you can’t because you already have plans for tonight.

You’ll tell her that this is your first date since leaving Hogwarts and that you’re still figuring out how to ask someone on a date. Tonks will want to hear what you had planned for your date night, but you’ll tell her that’s the problem because you haven’t had time to plan your date due to work.

Luckily, Tonks will understand, and she’ll want to help you make a plan for your romantic date. To plan a date night, you need to earn five stars within one hour. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

There are few bonus progress actions. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

Tonks and you will agree that a nice dinner at your place would be ideal for you and your date to enjoy some privacy.

Following that, Tonks will try to guess who you’ll ask to be your date. She’ll keep guessing until she gets it right. This is an IMPORTANT choice, and it’s up to you to decide who your date will be.

After you choose, Tonks will ask if you’re sure about your decision. There are two different options to choose from. If you are not satisfied with your choice, you can choose another option to get the possibility to choose again.

After that, Tonks will say that you need to figure out what to make for dinner for your date night, which will remind you that you urgently need to clean your apartment. However, Tonks will reassure you not to worry and that she’ll help you clean up.

Go to your Flat to continue the story. When you arrive, Tonks will comment that she thought your apartment would be a mess, but she’ll say that it’s actually cleaner than hers.

You’ll emphasize that your apartment must be cleaner and everything must be fantastic. This line will differ based on your previous choice.

Then you’ll suggest starting with the preparations for your lovely date. To clean the flat, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass. 

The bonus progress actions are tied to Tonks. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

You’ll comment that you’re nearly done cleaning and can start considering your options for dinner. However, Tonks will suggest using magic to clean the remaining parts.

Unfortunately, Tonks will accidentally make a mistake and end up ruining almost your entire flat.

Luckily, Tonks will manage to stop the charmed mop just in time.

Tonks will feel really sorry about what happened and apologize to you. There are two options to choose from. If you like Tonks, it is recommended to pick the first option.

In any case, Tonks will say that she’ll take care of it and clean everything up, emphasizing that it’s the least she can do. She’ll tell you that you still have to figure out what to cook for dinner. You’ll agree with her that you can’t clean, plan dinner, and ask out your date all at once. Tonks will suggest trying the Leaky Cauldron because they have a date night dinner special for two.

Tonks will suggest you head there, emphasizing that there’s likely to be a big crowd due to Valentine’s Day. She’ll also add that she’ll tidy up your flat in the meantime, ensuring everything is ready.

Proceed to the Leaky Cauldron when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive, you’ll notice the huge crowd, and you’ll ask the waitress what’s happening.

You’ll then tell her that you need to place an order for a date night special for tonight, but when the waitress hears that you need it for tonight, she won’t be sure if they can accommodate it because their kitchen is overwhelmed with orders.

To persuade the waitress, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to the waitress and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

The waitress will then tell you that she couldn’t bear to ruin the date of two young lovers, and she’ll assure you that she’ll make sure your special date order gets into the kitchen. 

The waitress will mention that the Date Night special is what she bought for her first date in her flat, describing it as a truly magical experience. You’ll agree, finding it a good sign. Then she’ll ask what you’re most looking forward to on your date tonight. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

The waitress will add that your date is one lucky person to go on a date with you because you want everything to be perfect.

(The next lines of dialogue will differ depending on who you chose to be your date, but in any case, it does not affect the story).

Go to High Street to continue the story. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive, you’ll thank your crush for agreeing to see you on such short notice. 

You’ll get extra lines of dialogue if the two of you are dating.

However, your crush will start talking about work, but you’ll interrupt her, saying that you didn’t actually want to ask her about work but rather if she’d like to come to your place tonight for Valentine’s Day dinner.

Your crush will gladly accept the invitation. 

Then you’ll ask her when would be a good time for her to come over, but you’ll notice that your date seems uncertain, and you’ll inquire about what’s wrong.

To learn what’s happened, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Merula. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

You’ll find out that your crush is uncertain if she can make it to the date with you because she might have to stay late at work.

Your date will say she has no idea how long she’ll have to stay at work, and you’ll respond that there’s still a chance. You’ll ask her if she can try to make it by this evening, and she’ll say she’ll do her best to make it happen. Then, she’ll ask if you’ll understand if she has to cancel the date. 

There are three options to choose from. If you like Merula, it is recommended to pick the first or third option.

After that, your date will have to go back to work. You’ll reassure her that you’ll keep your plans for tonight and ask her to keep you updated.

Unfortunately, this date night is turning out to be more complicated than you anticipated.
