Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 2 of our Walkthrough for The Adult’s Guide to Dating Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and you have been eagerly waiting for the perfect opportunity to ask your crush out on a romantic date. With the help of your friend Tonks, you have planned a romantic dinner at your apartment.

However, things take an unexpected turn when Tonks uses magic to clean the apartment, leaving it in an even worse state. Determined to rescue the evening, Tonks volunteers to clean up while you focus on dinner. The Leaky Cauldron, where you had planned to order a special dinner for two, turns out to be overcrowded. With some persuasion, you manage to secure your order and decide to invite your crush for a romantic evening at your place.

She/He accepted, but your date was unsure if she/he would make it to the romantic dinner because she/he had to work late. You decided to keep your plans, hoping that your date would be successful, and you decided to meet with Jacob so that he might give you some advice that would help you.

Proceed to the Three Broomsticks when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive, you’ll greet your brother and notice that it’s just as crowded here as it was at the Leaky Cauldron. 

(The next lines of dialogue will differ depending on who you chose to be your date, but in any case, it does not affect the story).

You’ll ask Jacob if he’s sure it’ll be alright here because it’s so noisy and crowded. However, he’ll reassure you that he’ll be fine, mentioning that he received your owl.

He’ll ask why you’re asking him about romance. There are three options to choose from. If you like Jacob, it is recommended to pick the second option.

Luckily, Jacob will agree to hear you out. To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Jacob and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

You’ll tell Jacob that you’re in a dilemma because of a possible dinner date cancellation and that you need his help. He’ll agree that it sounds pretty complicated. However, you’ll notice that Jacob isn’t quite focused.

He’ll say he’s listening to you, but he’s a bit stunned that you’re dating, considering you’re his younger brother. He’ll add that he’s still glad you have someone special in your life.

Jacob will notice that you’re quite upset, and he’ll ask you how much that person means to you. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Jacob will tell you that all relationships require work, whether they’re romantic or not. He’ll also add that it’s up to you to decide how to deal with obstacles like that.

These lines will differ based on your previous choice.

You’ll thank Jacob for the advice and say that you’ve decided not to let something like a few mishaps ruin your date night. Jacob will be very glad to hear that and suggest that you start putting together the rest of your date night.

Go to your Flat to check on Tonks. When you arrive, you’ll notice that Tonks is nearly finished cleaning up.

Tonks will add that she didn’t trust herself to use magic to clean up, considering her magic caused the mess in the first place. She thought it made sense to hand clean everything. There are three options to choose from. If you like Tonks, it is recommended to pick the first option.

Tonks will be curious and ask you how things went with your date, and you’ll say that your crush agreed to come for the date.

You’ll tell her that you’ve kept your plans for tonight just in case everything works out, and you’ll also mention that you talked to Jacob about the whole situation, and he gave you some good advice about it. These lines will differ based on your previous choice.

Shortly after, you’ll tell Tonks that you’re thinking about what you could do nice for your date, since she’s having a rough time at work. Tonks will say that it’s not a bad idea and that a gift from you would cheer anyone up. She’ll also suggest that you choose something that you and your crush could share on date night. 

To brainstorm gift ideas, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Tonks and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

You and Tonks will agree that the idea of getting something for dessert is brilliant and that you could look for dessert options at Honeydukes. Tonks will advise you to head there before the shop closes and to bring someone along who could help you choose the right dessert.

Proceed to the Honeydukes when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. You’ll thank Corey for agreeing to come along to shop with you.

She’ll say she really loves romantic stories and ask if you do too. There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

You’ll say you’re glad you asked a romance fan to help you pick out a treat for your date. Then you’ll suggest starting the search for the perfect treat for your date tonight. To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Acid pops and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

You and Corey will agree that you have many options to choose from, such as Wizochoc, Cauldron Cakes, and Pumpkin Pasties. Corey will suggest that, since you’re undecided, you should just get them all.

You’ll wonder if that might be too much, but Corey will assure you that it’s better to have an array of treats than to risk getting something your date won’t like. You’ll thank Corey for her help, and she’ll say she’s sure your date will appreciate the gift from you. Then you’ll decide to meet up with your crush to see if she’ll be able to make it to your date night. 

Go to High Street to talk with your date. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. As you wait for your date to arrive, you’ll think about what Jacob told you.

This line will differ based on your previous choice.

Shortly after, your date will arrive, and apologize for being late. You’ll notice that she seems more stressed out than last time, so you’ll ask her about it.

Then she’ll say she needs advice and ask you to listen to her.

To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

These lines will differ based on who you chose to be your date.

You’ll advise her to just be herself, as she always is. She’ll say that’s actually not a bad idea, as the customers do seem to respect her more when she’s authentic. She’ll express gratitude for your support, mentioning that she doesn’t know what she’d do without you. 

There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Following that, you’ll ask your crush if she thinks she can make it tonight for your date night dinner, and she’ll say that thanks to your advice, she’s sure she can.

However, your conversation will be interrupted by an owl delivering a letter to you.

Unfortunately, you’ve received an urgent call to return to work.
