The Alchemist Part 4

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough section for The Alchemist Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery! After a tense search through the castle, you managed to capture the enchanted frog that had been turning everything it touched into gold.

Liz guided you with her knowledge of magical creatures, and together you decided to keep the situation under control as a team. However, while the creature has been contained, Merula still remains affected by the Failed Stone’s magic. With Sir Ribbit’s fate hanging in the balance as well, your next task is clear — find a way to break the curse and restore them both to their true selves.

Proceed to the Clocktower Courtyard when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say.

You’ll notice that Mr. Flamel hasn’t arrived yet, so you’ll place Sir Ribbit on a bench. As you do, you will realize that it hasn’t turned to gold. Suddenly, your attention is caught by Mr. Flamel and Dumbledore nearby. You notice they are talking about something, and it turns out this isn’t part of the plan. Since they haven’t noticed you eavesdropping, you decide to listen in to discover what’s going on.

To discover the truth, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Professor Dumbledore and Nicholas Flamel. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

You’ll overhear them discussing The security of that object is of utmost importance. In the wrong hands, the consequences would be dire. This is true. If the Failed Stone elicits such temptation, the genuine article would do so to an even greater degree. Any measures they can take to ensure the safety and security of that object are well worth considering. However, the professor will notice that you are there.

You tell them that the frog no longer turns things to gold, which means that the Failed Stone’s power may finally be spent. Then Mr. Flamel will approach the frog, touch it with his wand, and the stone appears in his other hand.

Afterwards, Mr. Flamel will congratulate you for finding Sir Ribbithe so quickly. There are two different options to choose from. Both of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

In any case, Professor Dumbledore will award your house 50 points, and you’ll then decide to return to Merula to see if you can restore her to her normal state.

Go to the Hospital Wing to continue the story. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive, you tell Merula that you have finally found Liz’s frog and retrieved the Failed Stone. She will then ask why it took you so long.

There are two different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Fortunately, Flamel and Penny have been working together on a potion that can restore Merula to her normal state.

To learn about transmutation, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Mr.Flamel. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

Merula’s hands will successfully return to normal, and she will thank everyone. Following that, Flamel will say that the Headmaster has kindly offered him the chance to speak to the student body during the evening meal.

Proceed to the Great Hall when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. After a brief conversation with Penny, Nicholas Flamel will continue with his second lecture.

Flamel will also add that the rewards of the pursuit of alchemy are extensive, but so are the risks. There is precious little room for error. That is why alchemy, like all magic, must be practiced responsibly. For knowledge is neither good nor evil. We must rely on our consciences, our souls, to guide us. Then he will thank you, and you will approach him.  He will ask you what you think about his lecture.

There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

After a brief conversation with him, he will gift you the Failed Stone as a memento of this adventure.

This will mark the end of The Alchemist Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 4 Gems, 3 Chocolate Frogs, and 1000 Experience Points. You will also receive a failed stone tappie. 

You’ll earn the achievement for completing the adventure.

This adventure with Nicolas Flamel has been a journey of discovery, courage, and responsibility. You’ve witnessed the incredible power of alchemy, faced the risks of the Failed Stone, and worked together with your friends to prevent disaster.

Along the way, you learned that knowledge alone is not enough—wisdom, careful judgment, and teamwork are just as important. The lessons of perseverance, ethical use of power, and the balance between ambition and caution will stay with you long after the adventure ends, leaving you better prepared for whatever magical challenges lie ahead.
