Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough section for The Alchemist Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery! After finding only Penny, your search for Merula quickly turned tense when she appeared holding the mysterious Curse-Breaking Stone.

The duel that followed was interrupted by Liz, whose missing toad swallowed the stone.When Merula tried to take it back, her hands turned a shimmering golden color, leaving her shocked. Now, with new mysteries unfolding, even greater challenges await…

Proceed to the Hospital Wing when you are ready. Merula will be extremely nervous after what happened, shocked that such a thing could occur to her, and struggling to comprehend how it was even possible.

There are two options to choose from. If you like Merula, it is recommended to pick the first option. 

Following that, Nicolas Flamel will arrive and ask you to explain in detail what happened, so he can determine whether you will be able to help Merula return to her normal state.

To devise a plan, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Mr. Flamel and Penny. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

Mr. Flamel will realize roughly what you can do to help Merula, which is to find Liz’s lost frog. If the frog still holds the Failed Stone within it, it will wield the power of chrysopoeia, turning anything it touches into gold. Nicholas will then say that he never thought he’d see the day… the Midas touch of myth in an amphibian! and ask you how one should respond.

There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Then Flamel will tell you the story of King Midas: King Midas of myth, who turned everything he touched to gold, relished his power at first… but when he turned his own daughter into a shining, golden statue, he realized the tragedy of his situation.

Eventually, he was able to reverse it, but only by begging the mercy of the gods. Unfortunately, that option is not open to us. You will then decide to go search for Liz’s lost frog.

Go to the Dungeons to continue the story. When you arrive, you will notice frog tracks and also see many golden objects, which means that Liz’s frog is roaming around Hogwarts and turning things into gold. Liz will panic and ask you what will happen if her frog turns into gold, too.

There are two different options to choose from. Both of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

You will then decide to begin the search for Sir Ribbithe.To search for Sir Ribbithe, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Liz. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

You won’t find it in the dungeons, so you will decide to follow the golden traces it left before it turns the entire castle into gold.

Proceed to the Transfiguration Classroom when you are ready. There, Professor McGonagall will be waiting for you, demanding an explanation for why her classroom has been turned to gold. It is highly recommended that you tell the truth; if you don’t, you will lose 5 house points.

Shortly after, the three of you will begin searching the entire classroom together, hoping to find Liz’s frog. To clean up and search, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

You will spot Sir Ribitha on the table next to the golden trumpet, but as soon as he sees you, he will start to run and leave the room. You will quickly decide to follow him in order to finally catch him.

Go to the Charms Classroom to continue the story. Now he is trapped in the Charms classroom, and you and Liz need to figure out a way to catch him without hurting him.

To discuss the capture strategy, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Sir Ribbithe and gold books. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

You will decide to use Wingardium Leviosa to successfully catch Liz’s frog, so trace the wand movement to cast Wingardium Leviosa.

You will successfully levitate the frog, and Liz will ask you what you think about this situation with the frog running around the castle and turning everything into gold.

There are two different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

You will then say that if anyone can return Sir Ribbithe to normal, it’s Nicolas Flamel. He’s one of the cleverest wizards in history! However, Liz will be curious why Flamel would leave his home after so long, and she will wonder if there’s something else going on that you don’t know about.

There are two different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

In any case, you decide to go to Merula and tell her the good news.
