Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough section for The Dragon Club Challenge Part 1 of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery! Professor Dumbledore tasks the Dragon Club with a thrilling challenge—assisting Kingsley Shacklebolt, Gwenog Jones, Ludo Bagman, and Evelyn Starling in showcasing the four key areas of the club’s expertise. However, danger is never far from Hogwarts, and dark forces may be closer than you think!

Proceed to Dumbledore’s Office when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. You will greet everyone upon arrival, and Professor Dumbledore will thank you for coming. 

He will then inform you that he has important tasks for you regarding the special guests who are present. In short, he will explain that another Club Challenge is taking place—this time for the Dragon Club. Additionally, he will mention that he wants to launch a special program.

This line will differ depending on whether you are a Dragon Club member or not.

Dumbledore will say that in order to succeed in this challenge, the Dragon Club must perform its areas of expertise at the highest level. To achieve this, the presence of special guests is essential—Ludo Bagman, Gwenog Jones, Evelyn Starling, and Kingsley Shacklebolt. He will then proceed with further explanations, so be sure to listen carefully.

To discover your challenge, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass. 

The bonus progress actions are tied to Professor Dumbledore. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

You will soon realize that the guests are esteemed experts from the Centre for Magical Skills, highly regarded by the Dragon Club. Dumbledore’s goal is to inspire the entire school by showcasing the club’s four key areas of expertise at their highest level.

He will then explain that these four essential skills are Duelling, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Flying, and Quidditch.

To ensure you were paying attention, he will test your knowledge by asking who will represent Quidditch. The correct answer is Ludovic Bagman.

You will also learn that every Hogwarts student will be invited to the exhibition, and interested members of the public are also welcome. You will comment that it’s quite a large audience and that ensuring everything goes smoothly will be a challenge. 

However, Dumbledore will reassure you that the special guests are counting on the Dragon Club to assist them and help ensure their success.

Shortly after, he will tell you that in order to succeed, you must deepen your knowledge of the four areas of Dragon Club expertise. You will respond that you understand and that he can count on you and your friends.

You will ask Dumbledore if there is a chance someone might try to sabotage this event, just like the previous one. He will say that he isn’t sure but will urge you to be extremely cautious and prepared for anything. Afterward, you will head to the Dragon Club to meet up with your friends.

Go to the Dragon Clubhouse to continue the story. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive, you will see many of your friends. 

You will approach Andre and mention that you just came from Dumbledore’s office, where you learned about the event being held in honor of the Dragon Club.

This line will differ depending on whether you are a Dragon Club member or not

You will notice that your friends are having a great time engaging in Duelling, Quidditch, Flying, and Defence Against the Dark Arts.

There will be a slight change in the dialogue depending on whether you’re a member of the Dragon Club or not. If you’re not, you’ll be surprised by all the activities happening around you. However, if you are a member, Andre will mention that the club’s environment shouldn’t be such a surprise, considering you’re one of Dragon Club’s most accomplished students.

He will then ask if you’ve decided which Dragon Club field you will focus on, and which special guest you’ll choose. You’ll find yourself in a dilemma, and you and Andre will begin a discussion about it.

To discuss club skills, you need to earn five stars within one hour. Three stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Unfortunately, there are no bonus progress actions in this task.

You will learn that some of your friends have already decided which area of expertise they will focus on. Murphy will be helping Ludo Bagman, Diego will be with Evelyn Starling, focusing on Duelling, Tulip and Tonks have chosen Defence Against the Dark Arts with Kingsley Shacklebolt, and Andre has decided to focus on flying with Gwenog Jones.

Now, it’s up to you to decide which area you’ll focus on. Depending on your choice, there will be slight dialogue differences, but the story will remain the same. You will go through all the areas of expertise in the Dragon Club and interact with everyone, so don’t worry—choose the one that is closest to your heart.

Andre will then ask if you’re sure about your choice. If you’re unsure, select the second option, and you’ll be able to choose again.

Following that, you will talk to your friends who have chosen the same field of expertise. In this case, since you chose Defence Against the Dark Arts, you will approach Tonks and Tulip.

Tulip will tell you that you made a great choice and add that you’ll be working with the famous Auror Kingsley Shacklebolt. You’ll respond that you’ll have to impress Kingsley with your knowledge, then suggest going to the library to research everything you can about him.

This task will differ depending on which field you’ve chosen, as the dialogues will focus on the special guests. We are focusing on Kingsley, so the conversation will center around him.

Proceed to the Library when you are ready to bolster your knowledge. There, Tulip will greet you and mention that she has gathered all the necessary materials about Kingsley so you can properly research him.

To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to the books and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

Then, a test question will follow. Tulip will ask you, as an Auror, Kingsley excels in all areas, but what is he particularly known for? The correct answer is Concealment and Disguise.

You will thank Tulip for her help and add that the next step is to meet with Kingsley to start preparing for the event. If you’ve completed the The Hippogriff Club Challenge Adventure, you will receive a few lines of dialogue.

Then, you will say that, considering all of this, you must be cautious to ensure nothing goes wrong during the demonstration. You’ll also mention that Professor Dumbledore had warned you about this, and the worst part is that he won’t be at Hogwarts. As we all know, strange and bad things tend to happen when he’s not around.

Tulip will then tell you that rumors are circulating that one of the special guests has been receiving threatening messages, but she doesn’t know much more about it. She suggests that it would be good to inquire further about it.

Afterward, you will decide to meet with all the experts. Go to the Quidditch Pitch to continue the story. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say.

When you arrive, you’ll see that the stadium is packed, with everyone gathered around their assigned characters. Tulip will also comment that it feels really nice, but she’s a bit jealous because you’ve already met all these special guests in Dumbledore’s office before anyone else.

However of course, you’ll be worried about the rumors circulating about the threatening messages. You’ll add that while planning the exhibition, you must remain cautious and stay alert to notice if anything unusual happens. Following that, you’ll suggest having a chat with the guests about the upcoming club exhibition.

To learn exhibition plans, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. Three stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Unfortunately, there are no bonus progress actions in this task.

You’ll soon find out that the guests have an idea of what to do for the Dragon Club Skills Exhibition. The events will include a Quidditch match, an exhibition duel, and a performance of advanced broom tricks. The only event that hasn’t been decided yet is Defense Against the Dark Arts, as Kingsley isn’t sure how to exhibit his expertise without putting the audience in danger.

Following that, Tulip will ask you which of the three exhibitions you think will be the most popular. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

However, you’ll agree that you need to pay attention to prevent any incidents and that you must carefully investigate the rumors about the threatening messages. Tulip will then ask you how you think you and she should approach the investigation. There are three different options to choose from. You’ll decide to start with Kingsley, as he is a very well-known Auror, and it seems likely that he may have dangerous enemies who could pose a threat to the event.
