Proceed to Hagrid’s Garden when you are ready. When you arrive, you’ll find Hagrid waiting, clearly worried about his pumpkins. You’ll suggest that he tell you exactly what happened so you can help him.
To learn about Pumpkins, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass.

Bonus progress actions are tied to your character and Hagrid. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

Every year, Hagrid picks out the best pumpkins from his garden to decorate Hogwarts for Hallowe’en. But this year, his pumpkins are completely rotted. At first glance, they seem perfectly normal, but when Hagrid breaks one open, you’ll see it’s spoiled inside. Hagrid will start to believe it’s his fault that his pumpkins have turned rotten.
There are two different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

You’ll ask Hagrid if he can grow more pumpkins, since there’s still plenty of time before Hallowe’en. However, he’ll explain that the seeds he has aren’t any good, and when he asked Professor Sprout, she didn’t have any either. That will give you the idea to head to Hogsmeade and see if you can find some seeds for Hagrid.
Go to the Hogsmeade to continue the story. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say.
When you arrive in Hogsmeade, you and Tonks will notice that everyone seems unusually upset and worried, which will make you want to investigate further.
To talk to the townsfolk, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass.

The bonus progress actions are tied to the man in the brown coat. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

The townsfolk are all saying that their crops and food have gone bad. Tonks will then ask you whether you think this is just a coincidence, or if it might be connected to Hagrid’s rotted pumpkins.
There are two different options to choose from. Both of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

You’ll then decide to head over to Madam Rosmerta to see if she might know more about this situation.
Proceed to the Three Broomsticks when you are ready. When you arrive, you’ll notice the pub is practically empty. Madam Rosmerta will explain that all of her butterbeer has gone sour and every batch has to be thrown out.
You’ll then ask her if she thinks the butterbeer going sour is related to the crops rotting in Hogsmeade. She’ll be certain that it’s connected, and you’ll encourage her to share everything she knows so you can uncover what has been happening in Hogsmeade.
To listen to Sal’s story, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Madam Rosmerta and the butterbeer. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

She’ll explain that the whole rotting business started a few days ago and that all of the crops are spoiled. You’ll realize this means it’s unlikely you’ll be able to get any pumpkin seeds here for Hagrid.
You’ll ask if anything different happened with this year’s harvest, and Rosmerta will mention that the farmers expanded their fields recently because last year’s harvest was so bountiful. Tonks will immediately suggest that the field expansion must be related to the rot, and she’ll turn to you to ask what you think.
There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

In any case, Tonks will decide to take a sample of the rotten crops and bring it to Professor Sprout for examination, while you go to meet Penny to hear her thoughts on the situation.
Go to the Great Hall to continue the story. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive, Jae and Penny will be waiting for you.
You’ll begin a discussion about Hagrid’s pumpkins. Penny will express her concern, noting that Halloween isn’t the same without them, while Jae will comment that it’s just an overrated decoration. Penny will then ask for your opinion.
There are two different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

You will then discuss the entire situation that’s unfolding and decide to do a bit of brainstorming to see if you can come up with a possible conclusion.
To brainstorm ideas, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. Three stars are required to pass.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Penny and Corey. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

Penny will ask you what you think—whether this situation is likely caused by bad luck, a curse, or perhaps even a prank.
There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Jae will not mind much—at least until he tries a sandwich that tastes off, along with the butterbeer and pumpkins. Now, with even the food affected, it’s clear this has become a serious problem. You will decide to go check if Tonks has discovered anything new.
