Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough section for The Hogsmeade Hag Part 2 of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery! In the previous part of the adventure, Hogsmeade faced a troubling mystery: Hagrid’s beloved pumpkins had rotted, the local crops were spoiled, and even Madam Rosmerta’s butterbeer had gone sour. 

 You, together with Tonks and your friends, investigated the situation, gathering clues from concerned townsfolk, examining samples with Professor Sprout, and brainstorming possible causes—whether bad luck, a curse, or a prank. While the exact source of the rot remained unknown, you laid important groundwork, preparing to uncover the truth behind this strange and troubling phenomenon in the next part of the adventure.

Proceed to the Herbology Classroom when you are ready. When you arrive, Professor Sprout will want to explain to you what she has discovered.

To examine the samples, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to the broken pumpkin and Tonks. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

Professor Sprout will explain that she suspects something magical is at work. You might think it’s a curse, but she will clarify that it’s most likely the effect of a potion. You will decide that since everything points to Hogsmeade, you should return there to continue your investigation. However, Professor Sprout will ask if you can promise to be careful, as she’s heard that a hag recently moved to the outskirts of town.

There are two different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Following that, you will decide to head to the library to research hags a bit before returning to Hogsmeade.

Go to the Library to continue the story. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say.

Tonks has already found some books on hags, and you will immediately suggest starting to learn about them so you know what to expect if you encounter one, as Professor Sprout warned you.

You’ll learn that hags possess a form of rudimentary magic that allows them to brew potions. Professor Sprout mentioned that she suspects a potion was used to cause the rot. Perhaps if you track down that hag, you might uncover the source of the problem! However, Tonks won’t be too enthusiastic—she’ll admit that she’s a bit nervous about confronting a creature that enjoys eating people.

There are two different options to choose from. Both of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

In any case, you’ll decide to head to Hogsmeade and try to track down the hag in order to solve this rotten mystery. You’ll need to wait twenty minutes before you can continue.

When you arrive, you’ll spot a suspicious dark wizard… his name is Alistair Fidgen. You’ll approach him, and he’ll introduce his product, Blight-B-Gone, claiming it’s the solution to all your rot problems in a single phial! Tonks will fume, adding that he’s profiting off the misfortune of innocent people.

There are two different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

In any case, Alistair will begin explaining his product to you. To listen to Sal’s story, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Alistair and the witch next to him. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

Shortly after refusing his product, you’ll ask Alistair if he knows who’s behind the rotting crisis. He’ll smirk and reveal that it’s the work of a hag, currently staying at the Hog’s Head Inn. Without hesitation, you and Tonks will decide to head there immediately.

Go to the  Hog’s Head Inn to continue the story. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you enter the Hog’s Head Inn, you will see a man arguing with the hag.

He will accuse her of being responsible for the rot in town, while she will protest and insist that she is not to blame. Observing the situation, Tonks will turn to you and ask if you should be polite to her. It is recommended that you be polite to her.

Following that, you will approach her, and the dialogue lines will differ depending on the approach you chose. In any case, when you ask her what she is doing in Hogsmeade, she will say that she is looking for Noggin and will begin to tell you her story.

To listen to Carmen’s story, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to your character and Carmen. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

You will learn that the hag moved into a nearby cave, where she brews potions, and that Noggin is her pet Nogtail. You will point out that Nogtails cause blights on farms, but she will argue that Hogsmeade deserves it for stealing him in the first place. She will explain that the villagers moved their fields right up to her cave entrance and add that, while she may be a hag, she still has property rights and that land is hers. She will then ask you if you believe her.

There are two different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

In any case, you will make a deal with her: you will agree to find her missing pet, and in return, she will brew a potion that can reverse all of the rot and restore everything to normal.

This will mark the end of Part 2 of The Hogsmeade Hag Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 3 Gems and 1 Chocolate Frogs. 

Part 2 concludes with a surprising turn — instead of being the true villain behind the blight, the hag reveals herself as a victim of circumstance, angry at the villagers but willing to negotiate. With a promise to help her find Noggin in exchange for a cure to the rot, you and Tonks leave Hogsmeade with a new goal ahead. The mystery deepens, but now there’s hope that saving Noggin might also save the harvest.
