Proceed to the Great Hall when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive at the Great Hall, Dumbledore will announce that only two teams remain — yours and Merula’s. He will also reveal that there is only one round left, which will ignite your determination to defeat the opposing team.

The Professor will add that both teams have demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills and strong teamwork. However, the next and final round will require a different set of skills. He will then ask you to carefully listen to what Madam Blackbird has to say.

To listen to the rules, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Madam Blackbird. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

Madam Blackbird will add that each team must attempt to capture the other team’s Hodag, ensuring that the creature is not harmed in the process. The first team to successfully complete this task will be declared the winner.

This line will differ based on whether you belong to Slytherin House or not.

You’ll mention that both Dumbledore and Madam Blackbird also emphasized that there are multiple ways to win this challenge, while Penny will add that you can succeed either through a forward offensive or a sneak attack. It will then be up to you to choose your strategy. There are two different options to select from, and while your choice will influence some of the dialogue that follows, it won’t affect the overall story outcome.

Following that, you will be determined to immediately set out on your task to capture the other Hodag.

Go to the Slytherin Common Room to continue the story. When you enter the Slytherin common room, you’ll start loudly calling for Ismelda and Liz to come out. Naturally, Ismelda will try to intimidate you by mentioning Professor Snape.

The lines of dialogue here will vary slightly depending on the approach you chose in the previous decision. Naturally, after a brief exchange, Ismelda will firmly declare that she has no intention of handing over the Hodag. To make matters worse, additional Slytherin students will join her, ready to attack you and your team.

Now, it’s up to you to decide whether to fight back or calm everyone down. However, regardless of what you choose, you’ll quickly realize that perhaps it’s better to think things through. After all, the International Confederation of Wizards is all about cooperation, and maybe there’s a way to resolve things without escalating the conflict.

Barnaby will agree with you that there’s no need to fight your friends and that it would be better to consider what Madam Blackbird said. He’ll suggest that working together and using strategy might be a smarter approach, rather than letting emotions take over.

To discover what you missed, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Barnaby, your character, and the Slytherin student. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

You’ll realize that the rules only state that you need to secure the other team’s Hodag. It doesn’t mention anything about keeping yours away from the other team, so you don’t need to have both Hodags to win. This gives you the idea to exchange the creatures. Of course, first, you’ll need to convince Merula to agree to the exchange.

Proceed to the Clocktower Courtyard when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. You’ll thank Merula for coming and add that you have a solution where both teams can win the competition.

To convince Merula you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

However, Merula will ask you to give her a valid reason why she should trust that you’re right. There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Not long after, you will exchange your Hodags and head back to the Great Hall.

Go to the Great Hall to learn the winner. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. Penny will praise you and add that cooperation is precisely what the International Confederation of Wizards is all about, that it’s not about winning, but about finding the best solution for everyone.
She also hopes that Dumbledore and Madam Blackbird will agree with your choice. Soon after, Dumbledore will begin to speak.

Following that, Dumbledore will ask you what the most important lesson you learned from this challenge is. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Then, Dumbledore will tell you to prepare for your journey to MACUSA.
