Proceed to the Great Hall when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive, Penny will be visibly excited and will ask if you’ve heard the news.

She will admit that she hasn’t heard much but will add that the elves in the kitchens have been preparing special meals for several celebrity visitors. You’ll wonder which celebrity guests will be coming to Hogwarts. Following that, Professor Dumbledore will begin his announcement.

To learn the news, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass.Â

Bonus progress actions are tied to Professor Dumbledore and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

When you finish, you’ll learn that Hogwarts is holding an outdoor sporting competition called The Sorcerer’s Olympiad! You will add that the celebrity guests she heard about must be the experts, as they are the ones who have designed the challenges.

Following that, you’ll learn that The Sorcerer’s Olympiad will consist of three thrilling rounds, each judged by one of the celebrity guests. Four challengers, selected by the Hogwarts Professors, will be pushed to the brink of their abilities.
The competition will function such that in each round, one challenger will be eliminated, and the winner will earn a rare Olympiad Medal at a feast in their honor. Following this explanation, the professor will announce the challengers.

Dumbledore will say that the judges will arrive soon and that they will then start preparing for the first round of the competition. He will also mention that he will inform you when it’s time for the competition to begin. Then, Tonks will approach you and congratulate you on being selected as a challenger. She will ask how you feel about being chosen as a challenger in Hogwarts’ first-ever Sorcerer’s Olympiad. There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Tonks will say that she wants to help you prepare for the competition, but you’ll tell her that you’re not sure where to start because you don’t know what the challenges will be.
Then, you’ll remember that Penny mentioned she heard rumors from the kitchen elves, and you’ll think that your other friends might have heard or seen something that could help you discover what the challenges will be.

Then you’ll suggest gathering your friends in the Courtyard to find out what they’ve heard about the competition.
Go to the Clocktower Courtyard to meet your friends. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. You’ll greet everyone and explain that you need their help to discover the challenges in the competition so you can prepare. You’ll also mention that, based on Tonks’ clues, you’ve already determined that one of the challenges will be a rowing challenge.

To interpret the Challenges, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Charlie and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

You’ll say that, based on what they’ve heard, you can confidently identify the two remaining challenges. Adding that since Madam Hooch is preparing the Quidditch Pitch, it means there will be a flying challenge.
Also, with all the concerns about the creatures living in the Black Lake, it seems there will be an underwater challenge too. Tonks will ask you which of the three challenges you think you’ll fare best in. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

You’ll also learn from Ben that when he was coming here, he saw Madam Hooch preparing the Quidditch Pitch, which likely means that the first challenge will be a flying challenge. You’ll decide to prepare for it, and Tonks will offer to help you get ready.

Ben’s reaction will differ based on which year you attend.

Shortly after, you’ll decide to head to the Training Grounds to practice with Tonks for the first challenge. Proceed there when you are ready. Tonks will say she has good news: the rumors were confirmed, and the first challenge is definitely a flying challenge.

You’ll thank Tonks for her help, and she’ll say she’s happy to assist since she’s not competing. She’ll then ask what aspect of heading into round one excites you the most. There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Soon after, you’ll begin your training session with Tonks. To prepare for round one, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

Tonks will compliment you, saying that while she’s not Nugent Potts, she can confidently say that you’re quite ready for any feat or flying required. She’ll mention that Nugent Potts was a Quidditch referee who tragically died during a match in 1984.
She’ll add that she wasn’t sure what you would focus on during this session, so she read a lot of books on Quidditch. Nevertheless, she’ll conclude by saying that you’re an excellent flyer and more than prepared for round one. This line will differ based on whether you play Quidditch.

Go to the Quidditch Pitch to continue the story. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. Andre will say that you arrived right on time and that Professor Dumbledore mentioned the celebrity judge will be arriving soon.

Shortly after, the first celebrity judge will approach, and it’s none other than Gwenog Jones.

These lines will differ based on whether you have completed the following adventures: Welcome to the Slug Club, A Dragon’s Quest, and Hogwarts Trivia Adventure.

Gwenog will then explain that round one will consist of a simple endurance challenge. Each challenger will fly their broom high up over the Quidditch Pitch and balance on one foot. The first to give up and fly down will be eliminated from the competition.
Andre will then say that he hopes you’re ready, and although you’re close friends, he won’t be lenient. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Soon after, the first round of the competition will begin.

To outlast the others, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. Three stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Barnaby, Andre, and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

At one point, a gust of wind will blow so strong that it nearly knocks you off your broom.

Andre will confidently say that it will take more than a gust of wind to knock him out of the competition. However, as soon as he says this, something will go terribly wrong, and he will lose control of his broom and fall.

Madam Hooch will intervene and quickly escort Andre to the Hospital Wing.

This will mark the end of Part 1 of The Sorcerer’s Olympiad Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 300 Coins.
What happened to Andre? Was it a stroke of bad luck or perhaps some sort of enchantment? Is your friend alright? How will the competition proceed from here? Stay tuned to find out.
