The Tournament of Clubs Part 4
Introduction
Hello everyone, welcome to Part 4 of our Walkthrough for The Tournament of Clubs Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. During the previous part, the tournament started, and in the first round, members of each team played Gobstones against each other. You played against Ismelda, but unfortunately, you didn’t win, so her team ended up winning the first round.
The second round involved dueling, and you were competing against Tonks. Thanks to your remarkable dueling skills, you defeated Tonks, and your team won the second round. During the third trial, the teams were competing in a Fire Crab catching contest. You were teamed up with Penny, and both of you were looking forward to catching those magical creatures. Unfortunately, one of the Fire Crabs was about to wander off, so Penny helped the other team catch it. This was against the rules, so Barnaby had to disqualify the entire round, and no points were awarded.
During the final round, members of each team needed to avoid getting knocked off their brooms by their opponents. In the end, the only three members left on their brooms were Ismelda, Jae, and you. Ismelda found the opportunity to hit Jae with the Knockback Jinx, which caused him to fall off his broom. He ended up completely unconscious, and it wasn’t long before Professor McGonagall arrived and demanded an explanation.
Jae was rushed to the Hospital Wing, and you have some explaining to do. Once you start this part, you’ll be met with a waiting period of four hours. Since you will most likely be low on energy at this point, it is recommended to wait, and let your energy recharge in the meantime.
[Disclaimer: This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a Year 7 student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 5 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on your current progress of the main story.]

Walkthrough
Proceed to the Hospital Wing once the waiting time is over. Professor McGonagall won’t seem happy about what happened on the training grounds.
Unfortunately, Jae will still be unconscious from getting knocked off his broom. You will ask Professor McGonagall if Jae will be all right. She’ll say that he is eventually going to recover. Still, she will be shocked by the fact that students were fighting students, and on such a large scale.
On top of that, there won’t be any Wideye Potion in the Hospital Wing, so Jae will have to remain unconscious. This line will differ, based on your current progress of the main story.
Professor McGonagall will find it hard to believe that students would fight each other like that. You’ll say that the whole thing was meant to be a friendly competition. Unfortunately, things went out of hand.
You will ask her to give you a chance to explain everything. Thankfully, she will be willing to hear you out.
Explaining what happened requires earning five stars within three hours. Since all five stars are needed to pass, avoid starting this task if you are low on energy.
There are bonus progress actions tied to Jae, Professor McGonagall, and your character.
Professor McGonagall will understand that you’ve been trying to honor the founders of the three clubs.
You will say that the tournament was supposed to be a celebration of the clubs, but sadly, things got out of hand. To make matters worse, the contest didn’t help bring students together. It only caused more separation.
Professor McGonagall will be sad to see history repeating itself. You’ll ask if she knows the story behind the original trials. Sadly, she won’t answer your question.
She will notice that you are worried about Jae, and she will hope you can learn from that feeling. She’ll also suggest you keep an open mind when consulting the debris of history.
You’ll ask if there’s anything you can do to make it up to her. Professor McGonagall will say that Jae was the one who suffered from the whole situation.
You will figure out that Barnaby and you might be able to find a way to help Jae. You’ll decide to go to Hippogriff Club and talk to Barnaby. Proceed there when you are ready to continue.
Upon arriving, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you are curious to see what they have to say. Barnaby will say that everyone is upset after what happened at the tournament.
You’ll tell him you spoke with Professor McGonagall. Barnaby will be sad with the way things played out.
You’ll say that it didn’t happen all at once. Barnaby will agree with you.
You’ll inform him about what Professor McGonagall said.
You will have the feeling that something similar happened between the clubs before. Barnaby will wonder if the trials are cursed or possessed by ancient spirits. You’ll have a different theory.
You will remember the clues you found earlier.
Perhaps the founders used to be friends, and the competition tore their friendship apart… Barnaby will say some wise words.
He will wonder if there’s anything that can bring everyone back together. You will get an interesting idea that could solve two problems at once.
You’ll ask Barnaby if he is familiar with Wideye Potion. Surprisingly enough, he’ll say that he knows a lot about that potion.
You’ll recall Professor McGonagall mentioning the shortage of Wideye Potion in the Hospital Wing. You will suggest brewing a fresh batch to wake up Jae.
Barnaby will like your idea. He’ll say that you need to get all the ingredients and find someone to brew the potion. You will suggest going over all the ingredients needed for Wideye Potion.
Recalling Wideye Potion requires earning five stars within three hours. All five stars are needed to pass, which is why you shouldn’t start this task if your energy is low.
There is a bonus progress action tied to your character. Focus on it whenever it is available if you want to save a bit of energy.
After going over all the ingredients, Barnaby will suggest that the members of the Hippogriff Club collect some Wolfsbane and Standard Ingredient.
The third ingredient can be collected by the Dragon Club members.
Unfortunately, Barnaby won’t be able to remember the final ingredient, so he’ll ask for your help. There are three options to choose from. The correct answer is “Snake Fangs”.
Now all that’s left is to gather the ingredients and brew the potion.
According to Barnaby, Penny is studying in the Sphinx clubhouse, so he’ll suggest meeting there to brew the potion.
Proceed to the Sphinx clubhouse once you are ready to continue. You will be glad that everyone managed to gather the necessary ingredients for the Wideye Potion.
Ismelda will say that Ben got some Snake Fangs, and she brought the Wolfsbane and Standard Ingredient.
You will thank everyone for responding so quickly. Penny will say that she wants to do all in her power to help Jae.
Barnaby will say that while he was spreading the word, he noticed how everyone’s worried about Jae.
Ismelda will say that she never meant to hurt him. If you’ve accused her of cheating earlier, she will admit that she did cheat during your game of Gobstones.
You can choose to comfort Ismelda or blame her for what happened to Jae. If you like Ismelda, it is recommended to go with the first option.
She’ll say that the least she can do is help with the Wideye Potion. Shortly after, Penny will start brewing this potion.
Brewing Wideye Potion requires earning five stars within three hours. Since all five stars are needed to pass, it is recommended not to start this task if your energy bar is empty.
There are bonus progress actions tied to Ben and your character. Prioritize those if you want to save some energy.
Penny will have no problems brewing the Wideye Potion.
You’ll be glad that everything went according to plan. You will point out that great things can be accomplished when everyone is working together. Barnaby will suggest pouring the potion on Jae as soon as possible. Penny will chuckle upon hearing that.
She’ll agree with Barnaby that she needs to hurry to the Hospital Wing and she will leave. You will suggest preparing a party.
Barnaby will like your idea. He will decide to spread the word to the other clubs.
Head to the Dragon Clubhouse once you are ready to continue. Upon arriving, you will be able to interact with some of the characters and see what they have to say.
Barnaby will greet you and say that everything is prepared for Jae’s return from the Hospital Wing.
You will hope that the potion worked as intended. Moments later, Professor McGonagall will arrive. You will quickly ask her about Jae. Before giving you an answer, she will ask everyone to gather up.
Listening to Professor McGonagall requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.
There are bonus progress actions tied to Penny, Ben, and Professor McGonagall. Prioritize those if you want to save as much energy as possible.
Professor McGonagall will be proud of everyone and impressed with their efforts to help Jae.
She’ll also say that the Wideye Potion was one of the best she’s seen. She will praise you for bringing everyone together. There are two options to reply with. If you want to give credit to others, it is recommended to pick the first option.
Professor McGonagall will be glad that history didn’t repeat itself.
You will mention the information from Olin’s journal. You’ll also say that after finding some ancient artifacts and considering more than one perspective, you realized that the club founders used to be close friends. Unfortunately, the competition drove them apart.
Professor McGonagall will confirm your theory.
Unfortunately, the competition ended up turning good friends into grudging enemies. Because of that, the Professors decided to hide Oakwood’s journal where no one would look to find it.
The choice that you’ve made while talking to Barnaby about the journal will take effect here.
Professor McGonagall will explain why the journal was hidden.
Thanks to your efforts, the clubs worked with one another to help Jae. Speaking of Jae, he will suddenly show up.
He will be surprised to see everyone.
You’ll ask if he is feeling any better. He’ll nod and say that he is feeling like a million Galleons.
You will be glad to see him fully recovered from the injury.
He will be curious to know who won the tournament. Professor McGonagall will say that each of the clubs was a winner.
However, she will praise your efforts to reunite the clubs.
You’ll be surprised to hear that. Professor McGonagall will also say that you preserved the original spirit of the clubs, and reunited your friends after everything that happened.
She’ll then give you something as a token of her appreciation. It will be a photograph of Olin Oakwood and Margaretta Ironbark.
That photograph should remind you of the spirit in which the clubs were founded.
You’ll thank Professor McGonagall for the gift. Shortly after, Jae’s welcome home party will start.
This will mark the end of Part 4 of the Tournament of Clubs adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards. You will receive 3 Chocolate Frogs.
You will earn the achievement for completing the adventure.
Also, the photograph of Olin Oakwood and Margaretta Ironbark will be placed inside the Secret Clubhouse. Occasionally, you will be able to tap on it to receive gems.
That was an interesting adventure! Thanks to your efforts, the clubs were reunited, and most importantly, Jae recovered from his injuries.
Thank you for reading and see you soon with more amazing quests and adventures.
