Walkthrough
When you start the adventure, Penny will ask you to meet her in the Great Hall, so go there when you’re ready. Once you arrive, you can tap on speech bubbles if you are curious about what students have to say.
You’ll meet Penny who will be very excited about the big announcement. She’ll only have theories and guesses about what the announcement could be.

Penny will notice that everyone is in the Great Hall, so you two will decide to ask around and see if you can find out some more information. To complete this task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass the task.

Bonus progress action is tied to Tonks, so make sure to prioritize her action to save a bit of energy. Don’t forget to slide the screen left or right to see all the available actions.

You will notice that every student has a different idea about Professor McGonagall’s announcement.

Penny will mention that Tonks thinks it’s about The Valentine’s Day dance, Chiara thinks it’s about a new class and Badeea thinks it’s about the new guest lecturer.
Your Hufflepuff friend will ask you what you think about the announcement. During this choice, you can choose which idea you agree on. The first option is the correct one, but you can choose whichever option you like because it won’t have an impact on the story later.

Shortly after that, Professor McGonagall will arrive and she will announce that this year’s Valentine’s Day dance will be Hogwarts’ first-ever masquerade ball.

The following line will slightly differ depending on whether you’ve chosen the first option in the last choice or not.

Penny will be excited about all the activities she can enjoy during the ball, but she’ll be curious about what will be most exciting for you.

Feel free to choose whichever option you like. If your romance level with Penny is 7+, you will get additional lines of dialogue for each option. If you previously completed the “Let the Festivities Begin” adventure, the next lines of the dialogue will differ.

Professor McGonagall will say that she’ll soon call a meeting where a leader and members of a new student planning committee will be selected. Penny will comment that it is a good thing if students are in charge of the planning of the event.
If you previously completed the Let the Festivities Begin adventure, you will get an extra line of dialogue.

Penny will call you to further discuss the upcoming masquerade ball in the Clocktower Courtyard. Once you are there, you can see what your friends have to say by tapping on their speech bubbles. Tonks will greet you and she’ll mention that everyone is eager to talk about the upcoming masquerade ball.

She’ll mention she has to ask you something, but first, you should chat with your excited friends about the ball. To complete this task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to complete the task.

Unfortunately, there are no actions with bonus progress for this task, so you won’t be able to save some extra energy.

Tonks will assume that you’ll soon ask someone for the dance because soon everybody will be busy planning the ball. She’ll be very curious about whom you’ll choose for your dancing partner.

Before answering, you’ll take a look at your friends. This is the most important decision during this adventure. The rest of the story will be affected by this decision. You can pick a friend by clicking on the exclamation mark above their head.
The possible choices are (from left to right): Andre, Barnaby, Penny, Merula, Badeea, Chiara, Jae, and Talbott.

If you choose a person you dated earlier, you’ll get an additional line of dialogue. This dialogue can additionally differ depending on the partner.

After you choose, Tonks will ask you if are you sure that’s who you want to ask. This choice will give you an opportunity to choose again if you are not sure, by picking the second option. If you are sure, pick the first option.

Tonks will advise you to join the committee so you can make sure that everything goes well with the organization of the event and the ideal night for you and your date.

Professor McGonagall will soon start the meeting in the Transfiguration Class, so you’ll decide to go there immediately to see if you can join the masquerade planning committee.

Go to the Transfiguration Classroom when you are ready. Once you are there, you can tap on the speech bubbles to hear what your friends have to say. Professor McGonagall will point out that she can select only one student to be a committee leader.

Before she can do that, all students should describe their interest in the committee. Based on that, Professor will make her choice. To complete this task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to complete the task.

Bonus progress actions will be tied to Andre and your character. Prioritize those actions to save some energy.

After hearing all the applicants, Professor McGonagall will be impressed by the students’ eagerness. She’ll decide that each of the applicants will be a member of the committee and each member’s role will be of vital importance.

But only one can be a leader. Because the style is a critical part of any masquerade ball, her choice will be Andre. You can react to this decision in two ways. If you like Andre, it is recommended to choose the first option to congratulate him.

Andre will be honored and he’ll vow to work closely with his team.

He’ll call all members to meet at the Three Broomsticks to discuss ideas for the event. When you are ready, go to the Three Broomsticks to meet with the other members of the planning committee.
If you are curious, you can tap on the speech bubbles to see some additional lines of dialogue. When you arrive, Andre will greet you. The following line will differ, depending on your last choice.

It’s time for all members to present their ideas about the ball. After that, Andre will split tasks and duties among the members.
To complete this task, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. Three stars are required to complete the task (all five stars for Year 6 Chapter 24+). It is not recommended to start this task if your energy bar is not full.

Bonus progress action is tied to your character, so prioritize this action whenever possible, to save some energy.

You will help Andre summarize the tasks.

Andre will start giving tasks to committee members. Merula will be in charge of overseeing the decorations of the Great Hall. Penny will organize the music. You’ll suggest Penny joins Chiara. The following line will differ, based on whether or not you completed the Valentine’s Day Ball adventure.

Andre will give you the responsibility to take care of the food. He will also point out that if someone finishes their task, they can help others.

You’ll ask Andre who will be responsible for the masks. He’ll be happy to take on that task as he really loves the masks and has some great ideas already.
The outfits will be similar, to Andre’s design, but the masks will be unique. This way, the emphasis will be on masks and the mystery of who is behind them.

You’ll decide to get started since there’s a lot of work to be done and a little time to achieve it. You’ll start by going to the kitchens and getting started on the food.

With this, Part 1 of Valentine’s Day Masquerade Adventure will conclude. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 300 Coins.
Andre mentioned that when you complete your task, you can help others. Will other members of the committee have problems? What difficulties you may encounter? Find out in the next part of this beautiful adventure!
