The Valentine’s Day Masquerade Part 4

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 4 of our Walkthrough for The Valentine’s Day Masquerade Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. During the previous part, you asked Tonks to be the committee leader. Unfortunately, she didn’t accept, but she told you that Chiara might be interested. You went to see her in the library and she accepted the role of the committee leader.

After that, you went to get some flowers for your date and you dropped them off in their dorm. Lastly, you went to the Great Hall and were surprised to see that all the decorations went missing. After searching the place, you discovered a portrait of Peeves. You quickly realized that the poltergeist took the decorations, so you decided to find him and recover them.

Since the adventure is available for students of Year 5 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on your current progress of the main story.]

Summary

Walkthrough

You will encounter poltergeist Peeves. You will accuse him of theft, but he will just jest with you. It is in his nature after all.

Merula will urge you to deal with him. You will have a choice to decide on which approach to take in dealing with Peeves. If you like Merula, choose the first option, in which case she will agree with you. If you choose the second option, she will argue with you. Apart from that, this choice won’t significantly impact the story.

If you are dating Merula, you will get an additional line of dialogue. This dialogue also differs, depending on your last choice.

Peeves will admit that he stole the decorations because he was bored. He’ll return them if you entertain him with the funniest joke of all time.

To complete this task you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to complete this task. It is recommended to start this task once you have a full energy bar.

Bonus progress action is tied to your character. Prioritize this action to save some energy.

Soon after, the time to tell the funniest joke in the world will come and you will have three options. Only the first option will make Peeves laugh. Alternatively, if you pick the wrong option, Merula will say in anger that she sees through him which will be very funny to him.

Peeves will confess that it becomes very boring because everyone is focused on the masquerade ball and nobody invited him. You’ll invite him to the ball if he promises not to cause more trouble. Peeves will be happy to return the decorations because he doesn’t wish for the ball to be ugly and boring.

After Peeves disappears, Merula will complain about how someone in a mask asked Ismelda for a dance and she is considering going with him. She wanted to discourage her, and she doesn’t have a clue who that might be.

You’ll remember that Andre made you a mask, so while Merula is checking on Ismelda, you’ll decide to visit Andre in the Transfiguration Classroom. When you are ready, go to the Transfiguration Classroom to meet Andre.

You’ll meet Andre who’ll be wearing a beautiful tuxedo. He’ll mention that Peeves prank destroyed all the flowers in the Great Hall, but Chiara replaced them with healing herbs, bringing a nice touch to the event.

Andre will tell you he completed two iconic outfits, and apart from that, you may choose between three special masks.

Before you are ready to choose, you need to learn more about the masks. To complete this task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass.

Bonus progress action will be tied to your character. Prioritize this action to save some energy.

Shortly after, you will be able to choose a mask. You will have three options.

If you pick a mask and you don’t like it, don’t worry, Andre will always ask if you are sure you wish to choose that mask.

If you wish to try out another mask, you can always answer that you are not sure. You can repeat these steps as many times as you need. Take your time, because whichever mask you choose now, you’ll wear at Valentine’s masquerade ball.

Before you go, Andre will mention one rumor from Penny. He’ll tell you that Ben asked Penny for advice before asking a crush to the dance. Nobody knows who that may be!

You’ll recall what Merula mentioned earlier about Ismelda. You’ll figure out that Ben asked Ismelda to the masquerade ball.

After this, the time for the masquerade ball will finally arrive! Go to the Great Hall when you are prepared for this evening.

Once you arrive there, slide the screen to check all the available speech bubbles. Tap on them if you are curious about what other guests have to say. Finally, the Masquerade ball started and all your earlier efforts paid off.

You will meet Tonks who will comment that you did a brilliant job. You will humbly remind her that it was a team effort. The following line will differ, depending on the mask you choose earlier from Andre.

Tonks will mention that Ben indeed asked Ismelda for a dance, and you’ll see them having a nice time.

Tonks will ask for your opinion of them as a couple. This choice won’t have any significant impact on the story, so feel free to pick the option you like.

Tonks will ask where your date is. You’ll mention that you haven’t met your date yet and when everyone wears masks, it’s difficult to know who is who. Tonks will be sure you’ll find them, and she will leave you. Shortly after, your dancing partner will appear.

You’ll mention that you have a problem spotting your date because everyone wears masks. Your date will ask if you can describe the person you are looking for. Choose whichever option you think will describe your partner best.

The following line will differ, based on your last choice and on who your partner is. Each partner has a different personality, so they will react in different ways to your comments.

Once your date responds to what you’ve said, you’ll immediately recognize them.

Shortly after, your date will ask you for a dance. To complete this task, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. It is not recommended to start this task if you are low on energy, so it will be wise to wait for an energy bar to refill first.

Bonus progress actions are tied to your date and Ben. Prioritize those actions to save some energy.

You will have a chat with your partner speaking about some of the past events. This will differ depending on your dancing partner.

Your date will comment on the last song of the evening. The song that will be played depends on the choice you made when you chose music with Penny.

Your partner will say that you’ll have a surprise later. But first, you need to dance.

After the dance, go to the Clocktower Courtyard to see your date’s surprise. You will be pleasantly surprised that your date prepared a romantic table with food and candles just for you. The entire dialogue will differ, depending on the date you chose because each of them has a different personality.

After some additional unique dialogue with your date, your partner will ask what your favorite part of the masquerade dance was. The first option is the best to say to your date. Alternatively, other options are fine and they won’t change the story much.

You’ll get more unique dialogues with your date later.

Afterward, you and your date will enjoy the silence, looking at the stars.

Shortly after, Part 4 of The Valentine’s Day Masquerade adventure will conclude. You will receive three Chocolate Frogs, and one Enchanted Mask for your Dormitory. You will get 4 Gems, 1000 Experience Points, and 3 Chocolate Frogs.

You will earn the achievement for completing the adventure.

The mask from Andre you choose to wear will be added to your wardrobe.

You can place your Enchanted Mask in your Dormitory or in the Secret Clubhouse.

You successfully organized the first-ever masquerade ball in Hogwarts! None of the problems stopped you, and in the end, you had an amazing experience with your date.
