Hello everyone, welcome to Part 1 of our Walkthrough for The Vampire of Hogsmeade Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. Hogwarts is buzzing with Halloween excitement, but things take a mysterious turn when Professor Dumbledore announces a sudden ban on trips to Hogsmeade. Rumors of vampires spread quickly, and it’s your job to uncover the truth. What’s hidden in the fog, and how will you solve the mystery?

Proceed to the Great Hall when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive, the Headmaster will thank everyone for gathering and announce that he has an important announcement to make.

You’ll get an extra line of dialogue if you’ve completed the Shadows of the Dark Lord Adventure.

Dumbledore will add that anyone caught leaving the school grounds will face detention with Mr. Filch. He will then mention that preparations for the Halloween Feast are almost complete, wishing everyone a happy holiday. However, as expected, Merula will not agree with Professor Dumbledore’s decision.

You will wonder what kind of rumors Merula is referring to, and she will begin to explain them to you.

To discuss Hogsmeade rumors, you need to earn five stars within one hour. Three stars are required to pass. 

Unfortunately, there are no bonus progress actions in this task.

You’ll learn that there’s a rumor about a vampire lurking in Hogsmeade, prompting you to wonder why it’s causing such a stir. You remind everyone that your friend, Victor, is also a vampire, assuring them there’s no need for concern. However, Merula disagrees, stating that this isn’t an ordinary vampire, but one responsible for causing all sorts of strange things to happen.

Following that, Merula will ask you what you think about vampires. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

You will comment that you’re surprised Merula is so interested in vampires and add that it’s strange you haven’t seen her hanging around with Victor. She’ll respond by saying she tried to be friends with him, but found him boring since all he does is read books and study. She’ll even add that he refused to eat a single blood-flavored lollipop.

She will then tell you that she’s determined to get to the bottom of the vampire rumors. Curious, you’ll ask how she plans to do that when students are banned from going to Hogsmeade.

Go to the Third Floor to talk with Merula. As soon as you arrive, you’ll ask her how she plans to get to Hogsmeade.

She’ll briefly explain that she’s managed to discover and unlock a secret passage to Hogsmeade. Then, she’ll challenge you to figure out the riddle that will lead you there, and of course, you’ll eagerly accept the challenge.

To solve the riddle, you need to earn five stars within one hour. Three stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. 

You’ll realize that the riddle mentions a Healer and Dragon Pox and that the passageway is hidden by something made of stone. Merula will then ask where the secret passage is located. The correct answer is the “Witch Statue.”

You’ll ask her if there’s some kind of secret passphrase, but she won’t want to answer. Instead, she will quietly approach the statue, whisper the secret word, and the statue will create a passage leading to Hogsmeade.

Proceed to the Honeydukes when you are ready. These lines will vary depending on the year you attend.

Following that, she will ask you what you think about the secret passage. There are two different options to choose from. Both of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Merula will express her belief that this sounds like a waste of time and suggest that you head to Madam Rosmerta at the Three Broomsticks, as she always knows what’s going on. She’ll then propose that you split up to cover more ground. There are two different options to choose from. Both of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Merula decides to go alone to the Three Broomsticks, assuring you that she’ll return in time for dinner at Hogwarts and not to worry. After parting ways, you’ll encounter Mr. Flume. These lines will vary depending on whether you have met Mr. Flume.

You’ll ask Mr. Flume to share everything he knows and has heard about the mysterious vampire causing a stir in Hogsmeade.

To talk Flume, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to your character and Mr.Flume. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

You’ll discover that a fog recently rolled into town, and Mr. Flume will mention an increase in the sale of blood-flavored lollipops. However, he’ll hesitate to reveal who’s been buying them, as he doesn’t want to blame anyone who might be innocent. This will add to the air of mystery surrounding the rumors of the vampire in Hogsmeade.

Feeling suspicious, you decide to investigate the strange fog enveloping Hogsmeade. Determined to uncover the truth, you set off to explore the area, hoping to find clues that might reveal the mystery behind the rumored vampire.

Proceed to the Hogsmeade when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. As you step outside, the fog shrouding Hogsmeade thickens, creating an eerie atmosphere that sends chills down your spine. Just then, Bilton Bilmes will approach you, 

This line will vary depending on whether you have met Bilton Bilmes.

You tell Bilton to calm down and ask him to explain what’s happening, hoping that understanding the situation might allow you to help. To question Bilton, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to hiding Witch and Bilton Bilmes. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions. 

You will learn that the vampire terrorizing Hogsmeade is called the Count. As you begin to question him further, Bilton will express urgency, saying he wants to leave town. However, he will offer you a chance to ask him one question before he goes.

There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

You will thank Bilton, and he will leave. However, as you wander through Hogsmeade, you will hear a mysterious voice calling out.

You will decide not to linger too long and will head back to Hogwarts. However, as you start your journey, you will notice Merula’s scrapbook about vampires lying on the ground.

This will mark the end of Part 1 of The Vampire of Hogsmeade Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 300 Coins.
