At that moment, Professor Snape will approach you and ask where Merula is. If you are honest and tell Snape that Merula is skipping class, he will appreciate your honesty and award your house an additional five house points.

Following that, Snape will explain that during today’s class, you’ll be reviewing vampire safety procedures for reasons he won’t disclose. He’ll instruct you to pay close attention, as he’ll be asking questions later. To review vampire safety, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. Three stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Professor Snape. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

Snape will comment that above all else, you should avoid taking unnecessary risks when you suspect you’re in the presence of a vampire. While there is much superstition surrounding them, the fact remains that vampires can be quite dangerous. He will then ask how the Ministry classifies vampires. The correct answer is “Being”.

Shortly after, Professor Snape will dismiss you. Meanwhile, you’ll wonder if Merula will make it back to Hogwarts in time for dinner. Deciding to pay Hagrid a visit, you hope he might know more about vampires and bats.

screenshot (1431)

Go to the Hagrid’s Garden to meet Hagrid. When you arrive, you’ll see that Hagrid is busy caring for a vampire bat. He’ll explain that he found it injured in the Forbidden Forest and brought it home to take care of it.

To care for a vampire bat you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to the vampire bat and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

Fortunately, the little vampire bat will look much better and will feel happy.

Afterward, you will ask Hagrid about his experiences with vampires. He will tell you that he has met a few vampires and believes they are similar to werewolves. He will add that while some werewolves can be dangerous, many of them are quite good-natured.

screenshot (1437)

Hagrid will ask you if the fact that vampires drink blood makes them inherently evil. There are two different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

screenshot (1438)

He will comment that many people have different opinions about vampires; some accept them while others do not. He will add that his view of vampires is that they are just another being to share the world with. Following that, he will advise you to be cautious, as Professor Dumbledore wouldn’t ban visits to Hogsmeade without a good reason.

screenshot (1439)

You will decide to head back to Hogwarts to see if Merula has returned.

screenshot (1440)

Proceed to the Great Hall when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. You will immediately notice that Merula is still absent, prompting you to ask your friends if anyone has seen her.

screenshot (1441)

Barnaby will wonder if she might have gotten lost on her way to Hogwarts. However, you know that’s unlikely since there’s only one path leading from Hogsmeade to Hogwarts. You will add that you haven’t seen Merula since you all separated in Hogsmeade. This line will differ based on your previous choice.

screenshot (1442)

Ismelda will express her deep concern for Merula, wondering if something bad has happened to her friend. There are two different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

screenshot (1443)

Ismelda will suggest that you all need a plan to bring Merula back to Hogwarts safely. You will propose that everyone start brainstorming ideas together on the best course of action to ensure your friend returns without anyone finding out.

To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. Three stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Tonks and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

screenshot (1445)

You will agree that you must head out immediately to find Merula before your professors notice she’s still missing. You will mention that you know how to get there by using the One-Eyed Witch passage.

screenshot (1446)

Barnaby will then ask if there’s anything else he and Ismelda should know. There are two different options to choose from. Both of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

screenshot (1447)

You will then immediately decide to head to the third floor.

screenshot (1448)

Go to the Third Floor to meet Barnaby and Ismelda. Ismelda will be sure that Merula didn’t tell you what the secret password is to move the statue.

screenshot (1449)
screenshot (1450)

Of course, Barnaby’s attempt won’t work. Ismelda will then say that if you had Merula’s scrapbook on vampires, you could inspect it to find the password they need to pass through.

Fortunately, you’ll surprise them by saying that you have her scrapbook, which you found on the ground in Hogsmeade during the fog. However, while you’re talking, Mr. Filch and Mrs. Norris will appear to see who is making noise and what is happening.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Mr.Flich and Ismelda. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

screenshot (1454)

Naturally, Filch will be suspicious of Barnaby, who is staring at Merula’s scrapbook. He will ask what Barnaby is doing. There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

screenshot (1463)

In any case, he will decide to check on him.

screenshot (1455)

Fortunately, Ismelda will create a distraction and tell him that she saw a vampire in the courtyard.

screenshot (1458)

You will ask Barnaby if he has found the password, and he will say that he is pretty sure it’s one of these three words here, but he isn’t sure which one. The correct answer is “‘Dissendium’”.

screenshot (1459)

You will say the password and the statue will move, revealing the passage to Hogsmeade.
