The Vampire of Hogsmeade Part 4
Introduction
Hello everyone, welcome to Part 4 of our Walkthrough for The Vampire of Hogsmeade Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous part, you discovered that you can heal the spellbound townsfolk using Finite Incantatem.
You followed a group of spellbound people to Forest Lake. There, you met Merula, who wasn’t under the Count’s influence. Together, you eavesdropped on the meeting between the Count and other villagers, and you discovered that the Count was Todd Cribb. Once you countered his attacks, he started fleeing from you.

Go to the Magical Creatures Reserve – Dark Forest to continue the story.
You will manage to corner Todd Cribb and he will challenge you to a duel.
The rest of the dialogue may differ based on whether you met Todd Cribb before.
Todd will ask you to admit his performance as a Count was quite convincing. The choice of how to respond won’t impact the overall story, so feel free to choose the option you like.
Believing he is much more powerful than you because he’s a full-fledged wizard while you are just a student, he will be confident that he will defeat you in a duel.
To defeat Todd, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. It is recommended to start this task when your energy bar is full.
There are two bonus progress actions tied to Todd Cribb. Focus on actions tied to him to save some energy.
When you defeat him, Todd will try to deceive you by pointing at the bat behind you.
You will turn to look at the bat. Todd will seize the chance to attack you. You’ll need to quickly cast the Petrificus Totalus on him.
You will be happy that you caught the so-called vampire of Hogsmeade. You’ll decide to get him to the proper authorities and then go back to Hogwarts.
Go to the Dumbledore’s Office to meet with the Headmaster.
He will reassure you that said vampire has been revealed to be a hoax and he will pretend not to know what you did. He will then ask you what you make of this development. Feel free to choose the option you like.
Dumbledore will then catch you off-guard, revealing that he knows all what you did, because the townsfolk of Hogsmeade told him everything.
He will explain that grave dangers can lurk beyond the walls of Hogwarts and they should not be taken lightly. After that, Professor Dumbledore will ask you to help him put together all the details of Mr. Cribb’s ruse.
To complete this task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass.
Bonus progress actions are tied to Professor Dumbledore and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.
You will conclude that Todd Cribb ‘became’ a vampire with the help of fog, vampire bats, and the Confundus Charm.
The Headmaster will ask you what you think about Mr. Cribb’s faux vampire scheme. This choice won’t make a significant impact on the story, so feel free to choose the option you like.
Professor Dumbledor will be sad that Mr. Cribb didn’t employ his talents towards more productive ends, but instead, he was consumed by greed and became a petty criminal. You will ask the Professor what happened to the Hogsmeade villagers’ possessions.
He will reassure you that Mr. Cribb will be properly dealt with while Hagrid is ensuring that the vampire bats will find new homes.
Since there are no more troubles, it is time to enjoy the Hallowe’en Feast with friends. Go to the Great Hall to continue the story. Once you are there, check what some of your friends have to say by tapping the speech bubbles above their heads.
Ismelda will thank you for bringing back Merula.
To celebrate Hallowe’en, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Make sure to have a full energy bar before starting this task.
Bonus progress actions are tied to Ismelda and your character. Prioritize these actions to save a bit of energy.
You will tell friends that you could not apprehend Todd Cribb without them and you will thank them. Merula will be disappointed that she didn’t meet a real fearsome vampire. She will ask you if you are disappointed too. Feel free to choose the option you like.
You will remember something.
You won’t be sure if Confundus Charm explains a whisper in your ear or the strange illusions you saw. Suddenly, you will hear something.
The mysterious voice will invite you to come to the Lakeshore with your friends. You will realize that this voice is not from Todd Cribb. You will decide to go to the Lakeshore with Merula and Ismelda.
Go to the Lakeshore to continue the story. You will think that nobody is there, but to your surprise and horror, someone will tell you to turn around.
The mysterious person will say that you do have what it takes to face a true vampire. She will confirm that she is a real vampire.
To ask her questions, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. It is recommended to start this task when the energy bar is full.
Bonus progress actions are tied to the vampire and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.
You will discover that the vampire was drawn to Hogsmeade because of Todd Cribb. At first, she thought Todd was a vampire, but she quickly learned he was just pretending.
She first tried to stop you so you wouldn’t get in her way. She tried to test your resolve with her Legilimency powers, but you proved to be tenacious. You will realize that the illusions in the fog were her doing.
She will praise that you captured Todd unharmed because if she did, it would be messier. You can respond to this in two different ways. Feel free to choose the option you like.
Merula will mention that this event will go to her vampire scrapbook which will surprise the vampire. You will explain that Merula and Ismelda have an entire scrapbook dedicated to vampires. The vampire will like this.
Vampire will mention that maybe you can meet again sometime with an interesting comment.
When you turn back to ask her to clarify what she meant, she will be gone.
This will mark the end of Part 4 of The Vampire of Hogsmeade Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 4 Gems, 1000 Experience Points, and 3 Chocolate Frogs.
You’ll earn the achievement for completing the adventure.
On the Third Floor of Hogwarts, a statue of a one-eyed witch will appear. It will randomly give you Energy, Coins, Food, Pages or Notebooks.
What an adventure full of surprises! You needed lots of courage, tenacity, and teamwork with your friends to finally stop the evil deeds of Todd Cribb. When you finally thought that everything was explained and back to normal, you met a real vampire. Some things will remain a mystery.
