Introduction
Hello everyone, welcome to Part 3 of our Walkthrough for The Vampire of Hogsmeade Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. In the previous part, you and your friends embarked on a daring mission to find Merula after she went missing following a trip to Hogsmeade.
After encountering Professor Snape and discussing vampire safety protocols, you sought Hagrid’s wisdom about vampires. With newfound determination, you successfully distracted Mr. Filch and Mrs. Norris, revealing the secret password to open the hidden passage to Hogsmeade. With the passage now clear, you and Barnaby set off in search of Merula, ready to face whatever challenges await you.

Go to Hogsmeade to continue the story.

Barnaby will be surprised to see Honeydukes so empty. He will think that Mr. Flume must have closed up early.

You will wonder if Mr. Flume experienced the same strange happenings in Hogsmeade as well. You’ll stop thinking about it and you will decide to focus on finding Merula first. Barnaby will suggest that you start searching at the Three Broomsticks. Suddenly, you will hear a mysterious voice.

When you turn back, you will realize Barnaby disappeared. Suddenly, Merula will appear.

Then she will disappear as well. You will try to find Barnaby in this dense fog. To navigate the fog, you need to collect five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. It is recommended to start this task when your energy bar is full.

Unfortunately, there are no bonus progress actions for this task.
You will realize that you are surrounded by illusions.

The mysterious voice will ask you what keeps you going. Feel free to choose the option that is the most accurate for your character.

You will tell the mysterious voice that you suspect he is the Count and you will never give up on finding your friends.

Suddenly, the real Barnaby will approach you. Both of you will be confused about who is real.

Barnaby won’t be sure what happened and you’ll decide to hurry to the Three Broomsticks.
Go to the Three Broomsticks to continue the story. If you want to hear what guests of the inn have to say, tap on the speech bubbles above their heads.
You will ask Madam Rosmerta why the Three Broomstick has so few guests. She will not know the answer and she will be very confused.


Madam Rosmerta will inform you that Merula came to the inn a few hours ago. Madam Rosmerta told her that she should go back to Hogwarts and forget all about this vampire of Hogsmeade business. She will then ask you if you know how dangerous it is to sneak out. Feel free to choose the option you like.

You will convince Madam Rosmerta and she will not stop you from searching Merula.

You will decide to look around and chat with the guests to uncover Merula’s whereabouts.
You need to earn five stars within three hours to complete the next task. All five stars are required to pass.

There is only one bonus progress action and it’s tied to your character. Prioritize actions tied to your character, to save some energy.

You will conclude that while Madam Rosmerta was in the back, the Count came to Three Broomsticks. He took the guests’s belongings and entranced them to follow him outside. Madam Rosmerta will inform you what she just remembered Merula told her.

This happened before Madam Rosmerta went into the back. You and Barnaby will conclude that this happened before the Count arrived at the inn, so he didn’t take her. You will decide to keep searching for Merula in the Forbidden Forest. Madam Rosmerta will give you a warning.

When you exit the Three Broomsticks, you will be stopped by Ambrosius Flume and a group of wizards.

You and Barnaby will have a bad feeling about this so you will prepare to fend off the enchanted villagers.
You need to earn five stars within eight hours to complete the next task. All five stars are required to pass. Make sure to have a full energy bar before starting this task.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Mr. Flume and your character. Prioritize these actions to save a bit of energy.

You and Barnaby will fall back. Barnaby will realize that the wizards are under some sort of spell. He will ask you what spell can break this influence. The correct answer is “Finite Incantatem”.

Cast the Finite Incantatem.

You will succeed, and all the wizards, including Mr. Flume, will return to their senses.

It seems you have found the solution for all the spellbound villagers, but it will take time to help them all. Barnaby will inform you that he will stay with Mr. Flume to help everyone to get home safely, so you will continue without him. Mr. Flume will give you a piece of advice.

He will continue, saying that he saw them going into the Forbidden Forest. You will recall that’s where Merula went. You will decide to venture into the Forbidden Forest and explore this mystery.

Go to the Forest Lake to continue the story. You will find several spellbound villagers. If you want to hear what they have to say, tap the speech bubbles above their heads.
You will sneak and eavesdrop on the mesmerized villagers. Suddenly, Merula will arrive, sneaking beside you.

You will ask her what’s she doing and explain that you were looking for her. She will explain that she was tracking the Count’s followers all afternoon and evening. She will ask you if you were worried about her, in a surprising tone. Feel free to choose the option you like. This choice won’t impact the overall story.

Shortly after, the Count will appear.

To spy on the gathering, you will need to collect five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to complete the task.

There is only one bonus progress action and it’s tied to Merula. Prioritize actions tied to her to save some energy.

The next part of the dialogue may differ based on whether you met Todd Cribb in any of the previous adventures.

You will realize that the Count is a petty criminal with a penchant for theatrics, but you need to stop him because he still has mind control over the townsfolk.

You will warn Merula that you need to be careful. You and Merula will leave the cover and confront Todd.

His response will differ based on whether you met him before or not.

Todd will start attacking with the Confundus charm. You’ll need to counter his attack with the Finite Incantatem.

After you successfully block all of his attacks, he will start running away and you will start chasing him.

This will mark the end of Part 3 of The Vampire of Hogsmeade Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 3 Gems.
