Since the adventure is available for students of Year 2 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you depending on your current progress with the main story, and some dialogues may differ.)
Proceed to Hagrid’s Hut when you are ready. Upon arrival, you’ll greet Hagrid, and he’ll mention that he and Greywing are enjoying the lovely winter weather on Christmas Eve.

These lines will differ based on your previous choice.

Hagrid will say that now that Greywing is feeling better, they can focus on having a happy holiday. You will then tell him that you came to him because you want to do something for Professor Dumbledore to help him have a happy holiday and enjoy it.

He’ll add that Dumbledore always helps others and doesn’t think about himself.

Hagrid will express gratitude for your words, sharing that Dumbledore is his inspiration and a great teacher. He’ll mention learning valuable lessons from Dumbledore and highlight Dumbledore’s unique ability to see potential in others, something Hagrid deeply admires.

He’ll say that’s just one of the things that make your Headmaster so amazing. Then he’ll ask you what you respect the most about Professor Dumbledore. There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Hagrid will say that if anyone deserves a happy holiday, it’s Professor Dumbledore. You’ll agree with him, but then you’ll ask what you can do for him to make his holiday better. Hagrid, having known Dumbledore for a long time, will suggest that he could tell you everything he knows about him. To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Hagrid. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

When you finish, Hagrid will share with you that Dumbledore probably thinks the most about his brother Aberforth during this time of the year. Aberforth is the only family member Dumbledore has left in this world. These lines will differ depending on whether you have met Aberforth before.

You’ll wonder if perhaps Aberforth can help Professor Dumbledore have a happy holiday. Hagrid will say that there’s a possibility, but he’ll also tell you not to get your hopes up because the two of them are not on the best terms.

You’ll thank Hagrid for the help, and he’ll wish you luck, saying if you need anything, let him know. He’ll also wish you a happy Christmas.

As you walk away from Hagrid, the idea that Aberforth could be the key to brightening Professor Dumbledore’s holiday will linger in your mind. You’ll decide that it’s worth talking to Aberforth about it. This line will differ based on the year you attend.

Then, you’ll spot Fawkes again, evidently following you.

You’ll address Fawkes and tell him that you’re doing your best to help Professor Dumbledore have a happy holiday. You’ll mention that you don’t have much time to chat and that you need to go talk to Aberforth.

It looks like you’ll arrive in Hogsmeade faster than you thought. Go to the Hog’s Head Inn to continue the story. When you arrive there, it will be hard for you to believe that Fawkes carried you to Hogsmeade.

Aberforth will be surprised to see you so late.

This line will differ depending on whether you have met Aberforth before.

He’ll comment that, in his time, students caught out of bed after dark got into big trouble. Then he’ll ask you how you ended up there at such late hours. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

In any case, he won’t want to throw you out into the cold and will suggest that you sit down and warm up. These lines will differ depending on whether you have met Aberforth before.

You’ll tell him that he probably knows Dumbledore better than anyone, and he’ll acknowledge that, stating that he knows more than he should. You’ll then ask if he can share something about Dumbledore that you might not know, and he’ll accept, mentioning that you’re supposed to understand him more than most, given your brother Jacob.
To complete the next task, you need to earn (five stars within three hours for Years 2-6 and five stars within eight hours for Years 7+). Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Aberforth. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

When you finish, you’ll learn that he and Dumbledore have been through difficult times, and tragedy has visited their family more than once. He’ll add that through everything, Dumbledore was as brilliant as ever, always looking for a clever solution.

He’ll then apologize for his reaction, acknowledging the strained history between him and his brother. Afterward, he’ll express curiosity about Dumbledore’s well-being and ask you how Dumbledore is doing. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Following that, he’ll add that even Dumbledore can’t escape the past, especially during this time of year. Aberforth will mention that Dumbledore is likely dwelling on it quite a bit. He’ll say that enough is reminiscing for now and suggest setting you up with a bed to get some rest.

He’ll say that you’ll see each other at Hogwarts in the morning discreetly, so as not to get you into trouble for coming to him late at night and to ensure you don’t spoil your holiday. You’ll express your appreciation and decide that, as soon as you wake up in the morning, you’ll go to Professor Dumbledore.
Proceed to the Astronomy Tower when you are ready. Upon your arrival, the professor will express surprise that you’ve risen so early, mentioning that he came to enjoy the sunrise.

He’ll say that he has good news, which is that your winter wonderland is a rousing success. He’ll thank you for your efforts and mention that thanks to your collaboration, you’ve been able to make this a happy holiday for everyone at Hogwarts.

You’ll then ask him what’s going on with him and inquire if he’s truly having a happy holiday. Professor Dumbledore will respond that his holiday is lifted merely by knowing that the castle is full of joy and holiday cheer. There are three different options to choose from in which way you will answer Dumbledore. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

You’ll then express that Christmas is all about joy and fun, but it’s not always an easy time for everyone, especially when it comes to family, as family situations can be complicated.

You’ll suggest that maybe it could help him if he talks about it with you if he wants to.

To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start this task with a full energy bar.

The bonus progress actions are tied to Professor Dumbledore. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

Upon finishing, you’ll discover that Professor Dumbledore and his brother Aberforth have drifted apart over the years, both making regrettable mistakes. He’ll also acknowledge the good times they once shared, though those days are now distant memories. He’ll suggest it’s time to stop dwelling on the past since it’s Christmas, after all.
He’ll mention that breakfast will be served soon and suggest you go and enjoy the holiday. When you ask about his well-being, he’ll assure you that he’ll join you for a hearty breakfast shortly.

You’ll decide to talk to your friends to come up with a plan to help Dumbledore together. Go to the Great Hall to continue the story. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive, you’ll see that all the students are enjoying a Christmas breakfast in the magically decorated Great Hall.

Penny will remark that celebrating the holiday at Hogwarts is even more splendid than she imagined. She’ll also share that both she and Chiara woke up to discover a delightful array of presents in their rooms.

That will pique Penny’s curiosity, and she’ll ask you where you were last night if you weren’t in your room. There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

Following that, Merula will appear and say that something strange is going on with you, referring to what she told you about her ice-skating trip and now suddenly there is a skating pond in the training grounds.

Merula will want you to uncover what’s happening. There are two options to choose from. If you like Professor Dumbledore, it is recommended to pick the second option.

Then you’ll say that regardless of how the winter wonderland came to be, adding that there is someone else who needs help this holiday, subtly referring to Professor Dumbledore. You will get additional lines of dialogue if you chose to tell the truth in the previous choice.
Following that, Penny will say that it’s a wonderful idea and ask if you have something in mind. You’ll tell her that you’re not sure and that you think Aberforth might be the key, revealing that he and Dumbledore, despite being brothers, aren’t on the best terms.

Then Penny will suggest making a plan to create a Christmas miracle and reconcile the brothers. To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Chiara and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy. Slide the screen left and right to check all available actions.

When you finish, you’ll come up with the idea to organize a secret gift exchange between the two Dumbledores.

That way, they’ll both believe that their brother still cares about them, and they might think that the other brother was the first to apologize, which could help them reconcile.

Merula will point out a potential issue: Christmas is already here, and time is limited. Penny will chime in, noting that all the shops are closed. This prompts you to consider checking the Artefact Room for a solution.
