Dumbledore’s Legacy Part 3
Introduction
Hello everyone, welcome to Part 3 of the Dumbledore’s Legacy Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery!
After interviewing Ben and Andre, you’ve found out from Ismelda that there is someone spreading misinformation about Dumbledore in Hogsmeade. You went there to check who this mysterious wizard is and discovered it is Lucius Malfoy.
After encountering him, you updated Dumbledore on what’s happening. He will form a plan to make Malfoy’s smear campaign and his interview to Daily Prophet less impactful than yours. You will focus on the stories of Hogwarts and its students more. Love for Hogwarts will triumph over Malfoy’s hatred.

Walkthrough
Before starting the next task, you’ll have a waiting time of one hour. After the waiting time is over, go to the Clocktower Courtyard to meet with Penny and Barnaby and talk with them about your Daily Prophet assignment.
Your friends will be ready to tell you their experiences with Dumbledore, but you will explain to them that you are focusing now on experiences with Hogwarts itself. You will update them on everything what happened so far and what your and Dumbledore’s next plan is. Penny and Barnaby will be excited to share with you how Hogwarts influenced their lives.

To interview them, you’ll need to collect all five stars within three hours.

There will be only one bonus progress action, and it is tied to Barnaby. Prioritize actions tied to him to save some energy.
You’ve learned that the best thing Hogwarts provided for Penny and Barnaby was an inviting, welcoming community.

Penny will ask you what the best thing that Hogwarts offered to you is. Choose the option that best fits your character.
Penny will be worried that their testimonies won’t be enough for your assignment, and you’ll need way more while having a limited time. You’ll get the idea to get a large enough group of students to save time by interviewing them all at once. Penny will volunteer to gather the big group for you because she knows loads of people who would be down to help. The crowd of students can also talk about their future and how Hogwarts is helping them reach their dreams.
This will almost be enough for your Daily Prophet article, but first, you’ll need to study Hogwarts’s history and learn more about the notable students of the past. That way, the article will have an interesting balance of the past and present.
While Penny and Barnaby are gathering the crowd, go to the Library to study Hogwarts’ past.

In the Library, a mysterious voice behind the books will offer you help. It will be Lenny Pindlebrook who is already informed about your assignment. Some parts of the dialogue may differ based on whether you’ve met him before or not. You will accept his help, and you’ll scour the history books for Hogwarts’s notable students and past feats together.

To research the past of Hogwarts, you’ll need to earn all five stars within three hours.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Lenny and to the student on the far left side of the scene. Prioritize actions tied to them to save some energy. You can swipe the screen left and right to check all available options.
After the research, you and Lenny will realize that Hogwarts’s history and achievements are very complex. It’s also a melting pot of people, a training ground for powerful witches and wizards, and a safe haven for all.

Lenny will ask you which of these aspects of Hogwarts you will focus on the most when you talk to the correspondent. Feel free to choose the option you like.
Lenny will support you, but you will remember what Dumbledore said before. You should not favor only grand achievements while ignoring novel ones. The books only tell a story of the most famous students, but many thousand students are not mentioned. You’ll decide to speak with Nearly Headless Nick to learn more about the lesser-known past.
Go to the Main Hall to meet Sir Nick. You will update him as well on what happened so far, the troubles Lucius made, the change of plans, and you will ask him about Hogwarts’s past cultures. Sir Nick will be glad to help. He met many marvellous people in his unlife who were unsung.

To learn more about the less famous past students from Sir Nick, you’ll need to collect all five stars within three hours.

There will be multiple bonus progress actions tied to Sir Nick and one to Hagrid. Prioritize actions tied to them to save some energy.
You will write down everything that Sir Nick said and thank him. Sir Nick will mention how history forgot the names of these students, but their memories live forever in his heart. In his opinion, legacies are rubbish, and it is much better to spend the time you have with your loved ones.

He will ask what your stance is on this topic. Feel free to choose any option you like. Nearly Headless Nick will agree with you if you pick the second option.
After the conversation with Sir Nick about the past students, you’ll need to collect testimonies from the present students. Go to the Clocktower Courtyard to interview the crowd of students that Penny and Barnaby gathered.
As expected, Penny will inform you that she managed to gather as many students as she possibly could for your Daily Prophet assignment. She will inform you that everyone is excited to discuss their dreams and how Hogwarts is helping them achieve the futures they desire.
You will think that after interviewing all the students, you’ll have enough material to bring to the Daily Prophet correspondent, who will arrive soon in Hogsmeade. Shortly after, you will approach the crowd, thank everyone for joining, and start recording their dreams and how Hogwarts influenced their lives.

To complete the next task, you’ll need to collect all five stars within eight hours. It is recommended to start this task when your energy bar is full. Unfortunately, in this task, there won’t be any bonus progress actions.

You will be satisfied with the result, and you will declare how you can show the world how wonderful Hogwarts is as a place to better the future of its students. You will get applause from all the gathered students.

Penny will ask you what your dream is for the future. Pick an option that is the best for your character, lore-wise.
You will thank Penny for everything and go to meet the Daily Prophet correspondent.
This will mark the end of Part 3 of Dumbledore’s Legacy Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 3 Gems.
How will the interview with the Daily Prophet’s correspondent go? Will you present Hogwarts in a good light? Will the correspondent be confused because you talk less about Dumbledore? And what about the Malfoy’s smear campaign against Dumbledore? Find out in the next part!
Thank you for reading.
