Proceed to the Corridor when you are ready. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say.

You’ll meet Penny and explain to her what you and the Sorting Hat are working on. You’ll ask her to tell you about the students in Hufflepuff, and she will gladly agree.

To discuss modern hufflepuffs, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

You’ll say that it looks like Hufflepuffs today express their house traits in unique, modern ways. Diego Caplan channels the Hufflepuff passion and dedication into duelling, and he’s fiercely loyal, while Chiara may not be as social as other Hufflepuffs, but her kindness is typical of her house.

You and the Sorting Hat will decide to include this in the Hufflepuff verses of your song. Then the Sorting Hat will ask you what you would say is the most evident Hufflepuff trait in Miss Haywood.

There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

You’ll then decide to meet with Liz to have a discussion about the traits of modern Slytherins.

Go to the Transfiguration Classroom to continue the story. Liz will say that you and the Sorting Hat have arrived at just the right time, because she has been wondering whether she truly belongs in Slytherin. She will then ask you what you think—could the Hat ever make a mistake when sorting a student?

There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

Following that, you will listen to Liz as she explains why she doesn’t feel like she truly belongs in Slytherin.

To hear Liz out, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Liz feels that she doesn’t have much in common with other Slytherins and that she doesn’t share some of their core traits, like characteristic ambition.

The Sorting Hat will explain that she only feels this way because, like many others, she misunderstands what being a Slytherin truly means.

You’ll also reassure her that her ambition to become an exceptional magizoologist is actually a strong Slytherin trait, and that just because some Slytherins have negative tendencies, it doesn’t mean all of them do.

She’ll thank you, feeling very flattered by your words. Shortly after that, you’ll decide to speak next with Jae, the Gryffindor student.

Proceed to the Herbology Classroom when you are ready. When you try to chat with him, he’ll apologize and explain that he’s very busy because he hid one of his uncommon collectibles in this classroom before the summer break.

He needs to deliver it to another student before the Sorting Ceremony, but he can’t find it! You’ll decide to help him, hoping he can also share more about modern Gryffindors.

To search the classroom, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Luckily, you’ll find the item Jae was looking for. He’ll then say that now that he has found what he needed, you can ask him anything you like. However, when you do, his perspective is very similar to Liz’s. He’ll add that all the famous Gryffindors are noble and heroic, which he feels doesn’t really describe him.

You’ll respond that sometimes house traits aren’t easily recognizable, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t there. He’ll then ask for your opinion about him. There are three different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

You’ll thank Jae for his help and then decide that the next house to focus on is Ravenclaw, so you’ll plan to speak with Lenny Pindlebrook.

Go to the Library to continue the story. Upon arriving, you’ll notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you’re curious to see what they have to say. When you arrive there, if you haven’t met Lenny before, you’ll get a few lines of introductory dialogue. In any case, you tell him that you want to talk about his experience as a Ravenclaw, which he gladly agrees to.

To discover Lenny’s Ravenclaw traits, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Lenny clearly will enjoy learning and solving puzzles, which makes you feel he’s a perfect fit for Ravenclaw. This shows that while some modern students express house traits in new ways, Lenny proves that some things never change.

The Sorting Hat will add that if some modern students expand our definitions of their houses while others fit perfectly into theirs, then it’s important to capture that balance. It will then ask you, What’s the most important message to include in the song?

There are two different options to choose from. These options will influence some dialogue that will follow, but they won’t impact the story.

You’ll thank Lenny and then decide to go with the Sorting Hat to Dumbledore to tell him that the song is almost ready.

Proceed to the Corridor when you are ready. Before that, you will meet Jae, who will want to check in with you before you return the Sorting Hat to Professor Dumbledore. He will be curious about how things went with the other houses. You will suggest that perhaps the Sorting Hat itself could answer that question. The Hat will respond that it is ready to sing and will add that everything it has observed has been a rich source of inspiration for its song.

As your conversation continues, you will discuss the first year arriving at Hogwarts with Hagrid on the Hogwarts Express. The Sorting Hat will mention that it has never visited the Hogwarts Express station and will be eager to hear from you about it, as it doesn’t know much about that part of the journey.

To explain the Hogwarts Express, you need to earn five stars within three hours. The five stars are required to pass. Since this task requires a lot of energy, it is recommended to start it with a full energy bar.

Jae will suggest that, since the Sorting Hat is so interested in the Hogwarts Express and is composing a song about modern Hogwarts, it should visit the Hogwarts Express to fully experience the journey that every student goes through. The Sorting Hat will agree, and Jae will turn to you to ask for your opinion.

There are three different options to choose from. All of them will eventually lead to the same outcome, so feel free to take your pick.

In any case, you will go with Jae and the Sorting Hat to Hogsmeade Station to show it around.

This will mark the end of Part 3 of Hats Off Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 3 Gems.

By the end of Part 3, you will have gathered insights from students across all four houses, explored both the history and the present of Hogwarts, and helped the Sorting Hat understand modern student life. With these experiences, the song is nearly complete, capturing the spirit, growth, and unique qualities of today’s Hogwarts.

Thank you for reading.
