(Disclaimer: This walkthrough will feature the gameplay from the perspective of a Year 7 student. Since the adventure is available for students of Year 3 and above, the star and attribute requirements for certain tasks might be different for you, depending on your current progress of the main story.)
Go to the Clocktower Courtyard to continue the story. Once you are there, you can check what other students have to say by tapping the speech bubbles above their heads. You will explain to your friends that what you are about to say should stay between you.

You’ll tell everything that Ben told you and how he met Lord Voldemort.

The next part of the dialogue may differ based on your progress in the main story.

Your choice will take effect here.

Penny will point out that if You-Know-Who is out there, perhaps it’s best if you cancel the camping trip. Tulip will be against that.

Penny will consider what Tulip said, that the rumors may simply be false, but still, she won’t feel safe. You’ll propose to talk it through together and to vote after should you go on the trip or cancel it.

To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. All five stars are required to pass.

There is only one bonus progress action and it is tied to your character. Prioritize actions tied to you to save a bit of energy.

Shortly after, a time for voting will come. Penny will vote to cancel the trip. According to her, it’s better to be safe than sorry. Tulip will say that there’s no sense in canceling the trip based on rumors.

The last vote belongs to Barnaby. He won’t be able to vote, because he wants to be brave, but he still has terrible memories about You-Know-Who.

He’ll ask you to vote instead of him, so now you’ll carry the burden of the decision. Tulip will ask you if should you cancel the camping trip or not. This choice will influence the story slightly, but it won’t make a huge impact on the tasks later, so feel free to choose the option you like. Penny will like the first option, while Tulip will like the second one.

The conversation will depend on your choice.

Whichever you chose, Penny will invite you to meet her at the lakeshore. Go there when you are ready. If you were in favor of camping, you’ll go to the tent with your friends as agreed earlier.
If you canceled camping, you’ll find out that Tulip went alone to camp and Penny and Barnaby chased her. This version of the story will be in our walkthrough.

Penny and Barnaby couldn’t convince Tulip to come back, so they’ve called you for help.

Unfortunately, Tulip will be very stubborn. She will dismiss your warnings and go to the fire pit. You and your friends won’t have any choice but to join her, since leaving her all alone will be the worst thing to do.

You will start discussing again what Ben saw earlier. Tulip will argue that Ben only saw a person in a hood by the lake, but that doesn’t mean it’s You-Know-Who. Barnaby will say something interesting.

You will tell Barnaby to tell his story. That may convince Tulip to return to the castle.

To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. It is recommended to start this task only when your energy bar is full.

There is only one bonus progress action and it is tied to Barnaby. Prioritize actions tied to him to save some energy.

You will be surprised how the encounter with You-Know-Who left consequences on your friend.

Barnaby will point out that he feels better now after talking about it at least. Shortly after, you and Penny will try to pressure Tulip to leave camping.

Tulip will defend her arguments again and she’ll feel that everyone is against her. You can reply in two different ways. If you like Tulip. it is strongly recommended to choose the second option. You will still advocate to abandon the camp, but you will make her feel better.

Finally, you will be able to convince her. When you are about to leave, something will move in the bushes near you.

All your friends will jump on your feet. Suddenly, you will see Lord Voldemort himself!

Everyone will run in a panic except Tulip, while Barnaby will run directly into the bushes, strangely enough.
After you reach safety, Tulip will tell you that she can’t find Barnaby. She’ll invite you to Forest Lake, so go there when you are ready. Once you are there, you will meet Tulip and Penny. You will explain how you’ve seen the Dark Lord.

Surprisingly, Tulip will say that you are mistaken. You can reply in two different ways. Feel free to choose the option you like.

Tulip will explain that she stayed and she didn’t see You-Know-Who. Suddenly, Barnaby will appear out of the bushes.

You will be glad to see him. He will explain how he got confused earlier.

You will be confused why Barnaby is mentioning the clown so you will ask him if he meant metaphorically.

Barnaby will confuse everyone with his statements. It seems like everyone saw something different. You will decide that everyone should say what they’ve seen.

To complete the next task, you need to earn five stars within three hours. Three stars are required to pass.

Bonus progress actions will be tied to Penny, Tulip, and your character. Prioritize these actions to save a bit of energy.

You will try to understand what’s happened. Everyone heard a noise. You looked and saw You-Know-Who. Everyone ran except Tulip. When she was alone, Tulip saw Merula in the shadows, so she ran after you to inform you. When Penny heard something she saw a werewolf.

Barnaby didn’t see anything.

When he caught up with it, he saw it was a clown. You and your friends will figure out that this creature changes appearance depending on with whom it’s alone. That creature can only be one thing.

You will conclude that Ben’s Boggart is You-Know-Who just like yours. Penny will point out that Voldemort is one of the most common Boggarts in the wizarding world, so it makes sense.
You will point out that Boggarts are quite dangerous. Barnaby will try to reassure you that you are not in danger anymore because he chased the Boggart to the edge of the forest and he saw it vanish into Hogsmeade. This will worry you even more.

You have to deal with the Boggart before it terrifies the whole village. Penny will remind you that it is not easy to banish a Boggart and you can do this only with Riddikulus spell. You’ll decide to practice this spell with your friends before the fight.

Go to the Lakeshore to continue the story. Because the Boggart is formidable in a fight, Barnaby and Tulip will practice defensive spells, while you and Penny will study Riddikulus.

To review Riddikulus, you need to earn five stars within eight hours. All five stars are required to pass. It is recommended to start this task when your energy bar is full.

Bonus progress actions are tied to Tulip and your character. Prioritize these actions to save some energy.

Even after reviewing Riddikilus, Penny will be afraid to face a Boggart. There are two ways to reassure her. This choice won’t have an impact on the story, so pick the option you like.

Before you go to Hogsmeade, Penny will like to see you perform the wand movement for the Riddikilus spell.

Penny will like how you showed confidence in the correct wand movement. She will give you a piece of advice before going to Hogsmeade.

This will mark the end of Part 3 of Shadows of the Dark Lord Adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your reward. You will receive 3 Gems.
Will you manage to find and defeat the Boggart in Hogsmeade? Did the villagers sense his presence already? Can you and your friends face your fears? Find out in the next part of this adventure.
Thank you for reading.
