Ticket To Love Part 2

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to Part 2 of our Walkthrough for Ticket to Love Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. During the previous part, Penny told you that Millicent Bagnold is going to have a special announcement in Hogsmeade.

You went to Hogsmeade Station and learned that the Hogwarts Express Railway Authority is going to hold a special Valentine’s Day essay competition. Whoever ends up winning the contest will earn a romantic train ride for two! You decided to enter the competition and win this special prize.

Afterward, you went to the library to do some research on love. Thankfully, Penny was more than willing to help you, and after reading some stories about love, you realized you need a fresh perspective in order to write a truly unique essay. Penny told you that Gilderoy Lockhart is going to be signing books at Flourish and Blotts, so you went there to seek his advice. Unfortunately, there was a crowd of people there, waiting to meet the wizarding celebrity.

Thankfully, Merula helped you get to the front of the line, and you got the chance to talk to Gilderoy Lockhart. He advised you to talk to your friends about love. Hopefully, that way you will be able to get a fresh perspective.

The first one you can talk to is Penny, so proceed to the library when you are ready to meet with her.

Upon arriving, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you are curious to see what they have to say. You’ll happily greet Penny and tell her that you spoke to Gilderoy Lockhart.

You will say that he gave you interesting advice on how to write an essay that can win the contest. Penny will admit that she hasn’t had much luck with her research on love. It seems she helped Barnaby find a book about knarls. Your Hufflepuff friend will ask you to tell her everything about your encounter with Lockhart.

You’ll be more than happy to satisfy their curiosity. To discuss Lockhart’s idea, you must collect one star within three hours (five stars for Year 5 Chapter 17+). It is not recommended to start this task if you are low on energy.

Be sure to slide the screen left and right to see all available actions. There is a bonus action tied to Penny. Prioritize it if you want to save a bit of energy.

Barnaby will find the idea of you talking to witches and wizards about love funny. Hopefully, when you have gathered enough ideas, you will be able to write a good essay. Penny will like your plan. She’ll say there’s a good chance you will come up with something really remarkable.

All that’s left is for you to figure out which friends to talk to. You’ll tell Penny you would like to start with her. She will be slightly surprised to hear that.

She will think about it for a moment and then tell you her idea of love.

You’ll thank her for sharing it with you. Once you get some more ideas, you should be able to write an essay.

And to get those, you’ll need to talk to more witches and wizards about love. Barnaby will say he knows someone you could talk to. You’ll wonder if he’s referring to himself.

He will admit that he’s not that good with words when it comes to love. He’ll advise you to talk to Hagrid. Penny will agree that talking to Hagrid is a good idea.

She’ll decide to stay at the library while Barnaby and you pay the groundskeeper a visit. Proceed to Hagrid’s garden once you are ready to continue. Hagrid will be glad to see you and Barnaby.

You will tell him about the essay you are writing and you’ll also mention the advice Lockhart gave you. Hagrid will tell you that he is very busy. He’ll point at a nearby Bowtruckle. Hagrid is trying to help the little guy who is hiding there. The poor fellow will look very sad.

You’ll be surprised to see a Bowtruckle in the garden. Hagrid will explain what happened to the creature.

He’ll tell you that he needs to help the poor fellow recover and also build a nest for it as soon as possible. You’ll quickly offer to help him gather the materials for the Bowtruckle. Hagrid will like your idea. Gathering materials requires earning one star within three hours (eight hours and five stars for Year 5 Chapter 17+).

There are reward actions tied to Hagrid and the Bowtruckle. Focus on those if you want to save some energy.

When you are done, Hagrid will use a twig you found to make a splint for the Bowtruckle. The little fellow will look much happier than before.

Sadly, even after giving it some thought, Hagrid won’t exactly be sure what to say.  However, even without him saying anything, you noticed some things while you were working.

Unlike many other people, Hagrid always puts the needs of others before his own. He will say that Barnaby is much like him in this respect.

Your friend will be surprised to hear this. Shortly after, Hagrid will decide to take the Bowtruckle to safety. He’ll thank you for your help and wish you good luck on your essay. Barnaby will tell you that he completely agrees with everything you just said. He’ll give you an interesting compliment.

He will be absolutely sure that you are going to write an amazing essay and win the competition. He’ll also advise you to think about who to bring along for the Valentine’s Day train ride.

He will be curious if you’ve already made up your mind about it. There are three options to choose from. While this choice won’t significantly impact the story, if you like Barnaby, it is recommended to go with the first option. If you are exclusively dating him, you will get an additional line of dialogue by picking that option.

Barnaby will ask you to think of him when you make your final decision. However, he will not be intrusive in doing so. You will thank him kindly for his help. Still, you are far from finishing your essay. You’ll be wondering who to talk to next. Suddenly, an owl will deliver a letter to you.

Upon reading it, you will learn that Talbott wants to help you with your essay.

You’ll decide to go to the Astronomy Tower and meet him. You will have to wait two hours until Talbott is ready to meet with you. Since you are probably low on energy at this point, you should wait and recharge your energy in the meantime.

Proceed to the Astronomy Tower once the waiting time is over. When you arrive, you will be able to interact with some of the characters and see what they have to say. You will greet Talbott and tell him you received his letter. You’ll thank him for offering his help.

He will calmly say there is something he wants to show you. After a moment of slightly awkward silence, he’ll tell you he knows that you’ve been collecting ideas about love.

You will say that you’ve already talked to some of your friends. Still, you could definitely use some more ideas. Talbott will tell you he wants to make sure that you end up winning Valentine’s Day train ride. If you are exclusively dating him, you will get some additional lines of dialogue.

As it seems, he might be able to help you with your essay. He’ll ask you to look upon the Orrery with him while he tells you about his definition of love. Listening to Talbott requires earning one star within three hours (five stars for year 5 Chapter 17+). Avoid starting this task if your energy bar is empty.

As always, prioritize the reward actions if you want to save as much energy as possible.

Talbott will share his thoughts on love with you. According to him, love is something truly miraculous.

He’ll ask if you agree with him. There are two options to reply with. If you like Talbott, it is recommended to pick the first one.

You will thank Talbott for sharing his thoughts on love with you. Before leaving, he will ask you to think of him when you make your final decision. Shortly after he leaves, Badeea will approach you and say that she’s overheard your conversation with Talbott.

She’ll tell you she has some ideas she could share with you. She will ask you to meet her at the training grounds. Without a doubt, more ideas would definitely help you write a better essay.

Head to the training grounds when you are ready to continue. Badeea will thank you for meeting her. You’ll ask her about the ideas she wanted to share with you.

She will point to some of her paintings and say that each of them is inspired by an important experience in her life. She’ll tell you about the painting that won her the Magenta Comstock Artist Awards.

She will then point at the painting she drew during the Portrait Panic adventure.

Badeea will say that you were on her mind when she was finishing the Hogsmeade paintings. If you’ve completed Valentine’s Day Ball adventure, she will remind you of the mural the two of you painted together.

You’ll realize there’s plenty of history in her paintings. She will say that both of you are part of that history. Your previous choice will take effect here.

Badeea will say that she doesn’t see love in the same way as Talbott. She’ll offer to share her thoughts with you. You will be more than happy to hear what she has to say. Listening to Badeea requires earning one star within three hours (eight hours and five stars for Year 5 Chapter 17+). It is not recommended to start this task if your energy bar is empty.

There are two bonus actions tied to Badeea. Focus on her actions if you want to save some energy.

If you have listened to Badeea, you will understand her idea of love. According to her, love takes time and dedication, and it doesn’t always happen at once. She will advise you to talk to a couple that has been together for years. You’ll like her idea.

Still, you’ll be unsure where to find one such couple. Badeea will say that you might want to look at Hogsmeade Station. Hopefully, you will be able to find an older couple there. With all the ideas you’ve gathered so far, you should be able to write a wonderful essay.

Badeea will be sure that you are going to win the contest. She’ll ask you to think of her when you decide who to bring to the train ride. If you are exclusively dating Badeea, you will get some additional lines of dialogue.

She will then ask if you’ve made up your mind about who will be your date for the train ride. There are three options to reply with. This choice won’t significantly affect the story, so feel free to go with the option you prefer.

Still, you will need to focus on finishing the essay before making any plans for the date. You will thank Badeea for helping you, and shortly after, you’ll leave the training grounds.
