Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough section for the Curse-Breaker’s Gambit adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery! This adventure is available for students of Year 5 and above and it should unlock after reaching Chapter 18 of Year 5 of the main story. During it, you’ll learn that Murphy wants to compete in the Walter Aragon Wizard Chess Competition. However, he’ll need a team of four players to enter the tournament.

You will get the opportunity to become Murphy’s teammate and help him recruit two more wizard chess players to form a team. You’ll also need to get the professor’s permission to create a team to represent Hogwarts in the tournament. Will you be able to do all of that? And will your team be good enough to win the competition? Dive right into this adventure and find out!

Like most of the other adventures, this one also consists of four parts. Each of those will be extensively covered in our Walkthrough. Once you start the adventure, you have 3 days and 17 hours to complete it. This should be more than enough time, as long as you don’t waste too much energy. Our Walkthrough will aim to help you optimize energy usage. Also, all the important choices and their consequences will be pointed out.
